IMO characters killed during bug raids should, as a rule, be revived, otherwise you're giving people motivation to perpetrate more bug raids in the future. And next time it can be someone who's a little bit better at concealing their identity on the internet.

They tried to revive him and couldn't figure out how.

Edit - Agree though, if Felix had simply not overreached with how much damage he tried to inflict he probably would have got away with it unscathed. If a few people had logged in dead with nothing more than a couple trespass scents from an alt account created on a VPN that is already dead, not sure there'd be any recourse. And y'know, the obvious - don't brag about it.

As a late comer to the party and a third party with no stake in this (hell I had no idea until about any of this until i got home from work and pulled up some popcorn to catch up on 13 pages of posts.) whatsoever I have to hand it to the Dev's here. Seems like they handled it in an appropriate manner and even the victim of the loss was satisfied with his relief. Also, Holy shit that character had some insane stats. My character is retarded in comparison... 6 days old WTF...

In bug raids like this where the person is offline you can literally use a rage alt with a hf in the wilderness, not oathed to any village and hide behind a vpn.

Murder the target, drown the char, inherit and bash the hf, then never log in again...

Characters should be revived imo

At Jorb and Loftar, thank you for restoring the well.
I do also think that chars who die due to bug raids should ofc be revived but from what Ardennesss says you did try but weren't able to. :(

(Tbh honest I think any loses suffered should be restored ...)

RIP Troll ... Enjoy the cape. :)

Yeah the chars should definitely be revived because now bugabusers will just think like "ok maybe if I avoid the punishment as best as I can they will lose a character and I will only lose some shitty village that I set up" (not saying its like that in this case, but Felix is a 16 year old kid that doesn't know shit about VPN or anything else and was bragging about the bugabusing on every single chat) but if you guys actually revived characters in such situations the bugabusers would be just like "whats the point of even doing it if they will get revived anyways?"
