Even though people told you satiation were too punishing what do you do? select part of the problem (that best strategy is to bot eating at max satiation) fail utterly at fixing it and make the system at least two times more punishing than it was. And you know why? Because you are fucking lazy. Yes you are. Instead of implementing a system people would enjoy you'd rather modify a variable and make everything worse. Fuck this shit.

And fuck off with your preffered drinking vessels crap. Its just fucking tedium nobody enjoys. Fucking sprucecap larper.

Maybe take a break and go outside.

Lol so you’re forcing us to do stuff we don’t want to do in-game that also involves going outside the base which means taking risk but you fuck everyone on stat raising so only a few groups are actually strong enough to go and take that risk in more meaningful ways like boating across the map. Then you tell this dude he should go take a break and go outside, do you just like to exert control over everyone or what is your damage. Questing in this game sucks major ass, it’s a fucking sandbox game and you wanna put in things like that? Really? As if there isn’t enough industry related activities to suck up all our time? That’s what I don’t get about the complaints related to questing from those saying they have less reason to log in, there are so many reasons for me to log in to the game before I even think about doing any quests...

And local resource quality +1 rewards are not the best, they suck. Who fucking cares about the quality of bloodstern, but glimmer or cave clay q+1 underground? Now those would be something to be excited about.

"We don't even play our own game and pretend we understand what the majority of our playerbase thing the problems are and implement half-assed 'fixes' that seem to make things worse every patch. lets just tell our players to fuck off every patch too while we're at it."

Honestly, satiation changes every patch are just getting worse, like granger said, the problem with catching up is there is no cap. add stat caps at a reasonably high level (2k, 5k?) and catch up issue is done for worlds that exist 2+ years.

"Not that big of a deal" with the drinking vessels, why even have it at all then? just remove the vessel differences and the whole thing is infinitely better. What's easier for the player, chugging wine from a 10L barrel or a 0.3L glass? everything you do just makes everything take longer and is more tedious.

seriously, instead of developing half assed patches, spend 3 or 4 months just playing your fucking game and actually understand what people complain about. The reason every patch gets shit on is because you do not understand what your own game even is and how much of a fucking chore everything is becoming. Yet whenever anyone says anything like this all it is is "fkn sprucecaps" "go outside" or some other shitty insult.

If you no longer care about this game then say it, stop pretending to care when you don't even care enough to play it to begin to understand the issues everybody has with it.

cigar box guitar next instrument?

rant warning:
i feel like these loud rants are taking for granted what a unique MMO Haven is, and with every year it gets more like that... i went trying the so called Albion, dear lord, it's like an AI mashed together all Android game's art style with the same old quest chores from 10 years ago... seriously, you won't get a game tailored for your divine tastes unless you make one, but you can influence jorbtar's game if you suggest your opinions without bashing... it's just your opinions at the end of the day, this is not murica where the costumer is always right, if it was this unique game wouldn't even exist...

Right, the intention is a noble one, but my satiations (that were at 50-ish%) did not restore after 10 hours of me being away... so with the current implementation, it looks like people are punished even more for actively playing. I do a lot of chores and now I struggle with food satiations/hunger even more than before the change. You might want to look if you didn't overnerf that thing at the moment...

Unpopular opinion -

The changes dont bother me at all.

I don't spend 10 hours a day talking to rocks and trees, and I never did. Seeing that the rewards can be potentially predetermined to some extent makes me want to attempt questing again though.

The satiations are now nearly exactly as they were before. It just means we all progress slightly slower. I mean we are already at the point where people barely need to leave their walls unless they want to quest and it's only been a few months. Is this really a bad thing?

The only suggestion I have is that the longer satiation drain may have made energy food a slight struggle again. The way I see it now, you have to sort of pick a satiation group that you don't mind keeping full and use that as energy food if you want to spend more time mining.

I feel like adding even more foods could solve some issues here. Maybe dried meat or more nut-based foods could work as very low-satiating and very high energy alternatives? I am also thinking that maybe there could be some foods that add in a mechanic like the previous satiation mechanic. What if there were certain kinds of food that actually had a % chance to knock down another satiation?

Maybe eating a raw normal fruit has 10% chance to satiate fruit by 20% but also has a 5-10% chance to knock 5-10% off your meat satiation, for example.
Also may be worth considering lowering the hunger % on some foods too. Like eating a fruit between meals in real life, it doesn't make you feel less hungry, it can actually make you feel MORE hungry.

Also consider adding a few additional types of food to each satitaion group so we can explore and satiate each group while we feast and try to satiate them all while gaining all relevant feps we desire.

Shouldn't there be better reasons to go outside of walls aside from Greet Worcestershire.

please make restore drink satiations restore at the old pace restoring at 50% requires quadruple the amount then restoring at 100%
also just revert the whole satiation just logged in and in 8 hours i went from 27% to 48%

so that would mean you are wanting us to eat at like 1-15% satiation to have the old global restore timer

all that does is shift the need to quest 24/7 to needing to cook 24/7 because your eating at 15% satiation and restore drinks are useless

Screaming and cursing may well get you called out as a sprucecap, sprucecap.

We have two large projects in the works, and deliver weekly patches, albeit small. How about you go outside and get some fresh air.
