Look at the entire first half of this thread and the people praising a patch that could've literally been a quick fix 3 years ago rather than removed content + readded content with a fix in 2 patches.

Not sure what all the history with charter stones was but I like them.

I have a feeling tho that the recently implemented scyring stays how it is so basically useless because of crafting and mandrake roots xd

afaik theyre very aware of the issue with mandrakes but whatever it is must be some issue with the pools thats more complicated to fix than just increasing their base spawn rate
hopefully itll be fixed before end of the world

We're looking at mandrakes, and there is some problem with them. Will be pushing some debug code for them next patch at the very least.

I did find a mandrake 1-2 days ago, and traded it at LinchMarket. Having rare items like that can be good, but it's going to be a very minor part of your game.

Also I passed a cooled meteor with 1 piece remaining two days ago, I'm not sure I'll find either of these again!

I think scyring shouldn't have anything to do with mandrakes or crafting tho. could use some 250exp hearth magic to use up a scent for scyring or just rightclick and select scyring on a scent.

A mandrake for some revenge justice seems like a hefty price indeed. Maybe a numen point or some alternative instead.

You can not travel between Charter Stones.

maybe you should allow travel between charter stones but with low range? like 20 minimaps?

It's very cringe that you're so deeply afraid of perceived danger. It takes 5-10 seconds at most to exit your gate, take thingwall road, then port to a charter. Imagine asking for the game to be changed to reduce your 0.000000000001% chance of being ganked to a flat 0.
