If a character doesn't have Rage, they can't be executed and have 1 HP remaining, so they fly back to base. At that point, they become"vulnerable to death." for 24 hours. (This prevents abuse of the mechanic.)

I don't think people should be discouraged from picking the one skill that actually lets them defend their base/claim/etc. If anything rage itself should be made cheaper while other crime skills are made more expensive to compensate.
Now if you do it for murder ehhhh, ig? But nobody would get murder then outside of murder alts xd

Reduce rage back to 30k and make vandal 70k or smth.

With suggested system you could do both. One character with rage can defend claim/village. While other characters (farmers, cooks) without rage can enjoy their death protection and go outside questing ,doing credos or whatever...

I dont think skill price matters much after couple of days.

You don't play DF so you wouldn't know what those new canuck devs did is copy-paste code from dfhack features people were using for years now. The only new thing those guys did was make the UI worse and botching the mouse support system.

While they were adding baby sprites to the game, xbowdwarfs were unable to pick up bolts without some really convoluted setup. The new devs are embarrassing.

It has to be a little more complicated just incase a wound is infected or something odd like that but yeah pretty much.

16.1, does this mean that map stays the same as in w16?

I don't think the game should incentivize having alts even more than it does right now, credos and feps should be made so you can actually play on a single character without it being a literally the equivalent of shooting yourself in the leg IN MY OPINION. And afaik a lot of hermits don't fuck with alts.
