It will be merged when its ready to be merged.

What if time does never come?

Then it will never be merged.

Interesting. Technically, it appears this behavior exists on the real server too, only that without FP coordinates, it's far more possible to get "right next to" the non-water tile. I'll have a look at it.

I could probably merge it as it is, I'm just unsoundly nervous to do it. I'll probably do so as soon as my stomach gets icy enough. :)

Suggestion: first do the not-stuck-at-corners-and-stuff mechanic and then merge. Doing it like this leads to at least one nice upside: should some small(ish) fuckups happen the screams of the haters will at least be drowned in the appraise given for QoL arriving at the local client.

And it doesn't bother you, Ysh? He's got a good point in that any bugs would just be that rather than screams for "go back to old system NAO!!!!!!11"

Smart move.
This would make people forgive small fuckups and not whine about revert - I totally do agree on that

I am just comment on how Granger will post suggest to doing this one in every possible thread to receive this posting (I see him ask for this feature tens of times). As far as bothering me, it can be annoying sometime but it does not happen often I think. I can get over this one, but fix would be nice for having clearly.

I can say I've learned to avoid it, too, but there's a lot of situations where it's actually cumbersome (and not just trying to maneuver through the trees in combat).
