Are you referring to the exhilarating game mechanic of "dump million EXP points into a Well to increase it from 100 to 105?"

He's referring to people questing all world to get that +1 quality of some shit, and stacking it into oblivion. I was still under assumption it doesn't work, but i guess my knowledge is outdated (it's from w10). Still I won't be doing quests, fuck'em.

Gerdgen awards you with local deer quality += 1 * 7000 times, poggers gameplay to be the non-time-gated meta for raising industry infinitely. The 2 people who enjoy this having fun/probably automating it are definitely worth nobody else being able to have competitive industry / total market monopolies / being unable to fight certain groups at all because their armor is 2good.

Not that it matters, nobody is going to play past the first 2 months when it's relevant anyway.

Killing large animals - moose, bears, wolves, mammoths, whales, underground fish, trolls, clearing dungeons. Almost all of these things are done through bugs and exploits. A well-dressed, pumped-up character can even die from a bear, not to mention a troll or a whale; exploiting bugs is another matter.

This, so much this! PvE is the most stupid and pointless aspect of the game. As long as we have boat kiting, the whole hunting aspect of the game feels just dirty, since you just abuse game bugs the whole way. It goes to the point where i have to intentionaly kill any interes in hunting and treat it as some sort of farming, or i wouldn't be able to play the game at all.
What was the point of adding wolves, orcas and all that shit, if it's unkillable in a fair way and just forces more cheese? Armor wasnt a fix to it, it was just there to slow down the growth, so you could kill a bear on day 30 and not 1, still without any risk. The only fun part of PvE now are dungeons and that's sad as hell.

And even that's a stretch, you either have a strong party and just have on guy tank while the rest full circles/punch em both the shit out of the mobs. Or you run in circles (if you can bring a horse even better) while the rest of your party slowly kills mobs one by one. In general fighting animals is just boring af.

Not true, there are people still playing legacy because there is no PVP in it any more and they can finally live in peace. For some people haven is a thing to get your head free after a hard day at the office. It's a kind of stress-release.

And for us that want to live in peace and actually put the effort in to get a nice place with good quality crops and animals, your need to find, kill and raid us for no good reason is beyond our comprehension.

SpacePig wrote:The main reason for the low interest in PvP is the cost of losing a character and the impossibility of an industrial comeback. The death of pets and the loss of things that you cannot get yourself pushes you back in quality forever.

If I can rebuild in 3-4 weeks. I can tame animals again and raise their quality to the maximum and get better equipment and food, then there are no problems with PvP.
But if I have to play for 3 months just to get back what I just had, while everyone else will go ahead and not only in stats but also in the quality of steel.

Therein lies truth. And also is the answer why it pisses people off to get killed for no reason. Because most people who suffer from griefers are farmers, hermits and peaceful people. And it takes so damn long to get your stats back. I know what I'm talking about, I got killed twice this world, just for shits and giggles. I'm still not fully back on my feet, because I can't log in 24/7, single mom, full time job, I got maybe 5 hours during the week and maybe 10 on the weekends.
But of course people like Snail, Vatas and the likes can't see any further than I can throw them and think it is funny to raid and kill people over nothing, not to mention that the game is not interesting enough for them, if they can't kill a harmless hermit. Living in peace is so boring, but beating people to a pulp is so much more fun and interesting.

And therein lies the injustice. You guys don't go faction against faction anymore like in legacy, no you guys kill noobs, hermits, sprucecaps with absolutely nothing to gain but to boost your self esteem. What you can't do in real life, you do in haven. You can't take your neighbours big flat screen tv and kill him over it in real life, but in haven, yeah there you can kill and take whatever you want.
People just can't bare to see other people being happy and content, it has to be taken away from them. And if I can't do it in real life I'll do it online, it almost feels as good.

The game doesn't want me to fight factionbois >> viewtopic.php?f=48&t=74633

I believe a lot of people hold your opinion, but when push comes to shove the majority would find the game uninteresting if there were total safety. If you're one of the ones that would genuinely prefer it I'd strongly recommend >> https://store.steampowered.com/app/4131 ... ew_Valley/

I've played it for >600 hours and it's just an objectively better version of haven's peasfool hermit experience
