On the fence about supporting a world reset due to this, it'd suck to have to start over but the consequences of something this big out in the open is a little daunting.

In all, it feels like the right move to reset the world, but sucks for everyone to lose out on work. At least early game is most people's favorite time anyway.

In past worlds we had similar problems like super hq ore veins, kebab exploits etc. This isnt reason for reset, but damage control has to be done. For my group this bug exploit aint reason for reset, but if one would happen so early in world, next world wont be visited by us.

I guess, the lingering water barrels across the world will be either used by people who know what they are doing and are used to raise the quality of items which are capped by water (e.g. lye -> clay).
Or used in a non destructive way by people don't giving a fuck until it's run out. Or not be used at all out of fear.

I don't see that as a reset reason either.
It's kinda too late and too early at the same time.

This water didn't caused so much issue as you say. Water quality higher by Wq will cause you to get up to W/5 higher tree q, in this case it's +32q. Not really game breaking at this point. You can calculate this yourself either simulating using excel or figure that out on paper (it's called fixed point).

ahahaha you are funny, apparently you don’t understand anything about the game, if you think that water is only needed for planting trees.

literally useless in any other case, maybe you're unexperienced enough to think that taproot lacing matters

could we just drop q for water until next world?
similar to silver, just will not be calculated in any formula, simple water for simple people

Sometimes people are like that. Thank you for being the voice of reason this time, I think it goes a long way.
I love this setting.
