u get more farming if the gilding item is of better ql....also we need to still find IF it's possible to slot the same item on a single clothing if another slot opens up, and i guess it's so. Still missing int items. To lower the RNG i think that we may have items that raise the % in opening other slots.

You can't slot the same item twice

How they should have implemented it is that the gilding bonus takes into account the quality of the item as well, so that a q40 bearcape has less str bonus than a q90, assuming the same q tooth is used for both gildings.

Only one I've found is precious details: goldbeater's skin, two nuggets of any precious metal

That's how it works. Item quality caps the boost you can get from a high quality gilding

That's how it works. Item quality caps the boost you can get from a high quality gilding

Hardcaps, as in a q40 item hardcaps any gildings you use to their q40 values?
