There will be no option. They'll develop one system or another. maybe they'll fix this deck thing so it is more useful, gives more options, etc. Maybe they'll do something closer to the older version. Only jorbtar knows what they're thinking of.

A faction relatively close to AD (I entered your realm while exploring nearby) has a menhir and idol, one of each. But the realm is just called "Beacon" and I don't know who that is.

Entire point of kingdoms is expensive at first but cheap and fast expanding after you build it, thus more interaction between large groups of players once kingdom borders start overlapping. Making border cairns more expensive would only make expansion more slow, and more tedious to build.

I really hope the next patch changes the current realm buffs in some way whether that's improving them or adding new ones entirely or both because currently I don't really feel like sacrificing 500 auth a day per statue for such a shitty bonus to a few stats.

The material costs seem quite excessive as well, 350 soil/stone for the Menhir isn't a huge deal except that digging is the worst fucking thing in the world but 20 silver bars is quite a lot especially when you're required to build multiple to see any real benefit. Then there's the Grotesque Idol, hmm lets see 5 steel bars okay not too terrible, 200 blocks and stone alright but oh look 5 "fouls of the deep" (ie. foul smoke or notes of a foul symphony) and 10 bat guano. Thanks I really wanted more things to build that require materials from the localized resources some of which went from taking days to weeks and weeks to months to regenerate so yeah that's really great.

The updates not bad, but fact that there is idol buffs now makes it an even more Ideal for kingdoms to seek people.

Stat cap- bring that back and everyone will seek out a kingdom.
making the idol buffs the main way to get over 300cap.

Large factions would seek people out rather then kill em' is what we'd hope.
it would make citizens a valuable resource.

300 was way too low. I think that 1k-1.5k range would be cool.

1k-1.5k would be to high to make a difference using idols.
if you have 1k you need 300 idols to make a slight difference.
The point to make citizens valuable needs to be keep in mind.

less stats make idols a bigger impact. meaning you need citzens and rely on em.

Edit: J&L have been trying to get to a point that people WANT and NEED to group up. this would be that point. re-add stat cap next world~

I also think murder is to low cost but that's another subject...fk day 1 murdering...
murder should cost 500k day 1. after a week it should drop to 250k.

ALSO~ remove Victorian Bowler from the Store so I can be a special pony <3 :3
