It just means you can't use the trick of starting to log out before the opponent has managed to aggro you and keep logging out even after he has aggroed you. In balance, we made it slightly harder to aggro people.

Nobody said you can't defend against red. Red is super easy to defend against. The problem lies in blue. Now that artful evasion was basically removed from the game there's no way to remove blue opening fast enough to not take massive hits from cleave.
