Snail isn't the problem, the player base in general is. Most of the people who play this game are so boring and uncreative it's just a waste of time to play with them.

Imagine you’re a developer of an online PvP game with permanent death, and your player base consists of monkeys that have been given an infinite amount of time.

Sometimes you might think you’ve ended up in hell, but at other times in haven.

Especially when the developers are monkeys themselves – and it couldn’t be any other way.

And I’m telling you this from a typewriter.

Make friends with the other crabs or try to escape the bucket.

The Aesthetic Thread hasn't had a single new post in TWO YEARS.

I genuinely can't think of a single sandbox crafting game with a player base as boring and unimaginative as H&H's.

Because the PvP guys destroyed the last of the culture that was left in 2 years during the wars now nobody tries anymore. Now the worlds will be consumed by pvp culture until there’s nobody left to play against the no-lifers.

TLDR; Chaos won and its face is snail.

I still think if Devs focused more on "fixing" the need for bots, a Lot of this would go.

Everything is tied to quality and characters really mean nothing. I can just turn one of my miner or forage bots into another fighter alt.

If you didn't have throw away characters, then there wouldn't be such meaningless PVP

At least to some point that's how it was before we got the LP change(curio)

No it’s not important, I promise you. Culture comes from the heart and spirit, if people have their head in the right place and work together bots can be used to make cool stuff and throw big feasts and social parties faster. Bots are a tool, can be used for good or bad.

Honestly a big alliance fighting against chaos could certainly be a step forward. I messaged some of the PvP guys if they’d be interested if I write something out but I was met with a stone wall, because you know, all they think about is PvP.

We went into a lot of lengths about this in another thread some time ago

viewtopic.php?f=40&t=76433

The main problem is that bots cheapen everything. and not everyone has access to bots. I'm sure there will be those who will say, its easy to find the bot programs, just read on the post I gave. it's all in there

Thanks I appreciate the bot insight - you just overlooked the rest of what I said. Maybe the world needs a religion. And that’s not really up to Jorb that’s up to us.
