He CAN do so, because he does all his chores for a fraction of energy I spend to make an exploratory shaft at lvl -3.

Angwyn wrote:Considering how slowly hunger drops at the higher levels, surely it can't be efficient to let your character stay at the 200/300% levels unless you quest all day for the stomach relief rewards.

It's not even about efficiency. We work together in our areas. I need his trees and crops, he needs my metals and gems. He can do his part, refill energy and get a few stats up, while maintaining moderate hunger levels. I mine a few stockpiles of ore and I "lack energy for the hard labor" --> go eat --> overstuffed 24/7 If I want to keep the industrial part of our homestead running at pace with agricultural.

Angwyn wrote:If there is anything keeping you from gaining stats, wouldn't it be satieties rather than the way FEP bonus works?

Yeah that part is also shit, but hey, when your hunger level is bloody dark red, satieties is not the primary concern. You basically just open a cupboard and eat until your energy gets green. Then back to the mine with ya.

Inb4 world nuke imminent

My trees did not

From the responses I'd assume not all of the trees were killed in the update; Maybe only those were grown.

Also, a bug: Apple stockpiles are now impossible to make, because it assumes you want to plant them; trying to make one on pavement doesn't work either. You should only be able to plant the cores.

I'll admit that I'm way behind on my C&I reading. It's been a bit of a deluge.

You should be happy and thankful that you have users who care enough to take the time to make suggestions, ignoring these (either literally or by 'will consider' after reading the OP, that's at least how it looks at times) is wasting a huge potential as a comment with some questions to steer the topic into a productive direction about what's missing about it could yield you even way more than what you get.

Yes, dad, and there's also a fuckton of noise.

Just adding my voice to the "Apples can't be stockpiled anymore" complaints.

If only you had some mods to clean out that noise....

Or at least one very angry one.

They already do, probably one reason people feel more comfortable sending Jorb PM's instead of posting in the forum.

Our trees were stunted beforehand along with everyone else's, now they appear unstunted, thanks. I don't see any that have magically grown to 100% though.

jorb wrote:This is a legitimate discussion. I'm not entirely sure which part you find stupid -- random quests, or the rewards, or perhaps both -- but I'll give you my five cents on it either way.

For me, there is a disconnect between how rewarding the quest rewards feel and how important they actually are for character development. I'm more excited about a gilding rock than a stomach relieve reward, even though the latter is technically the better reward.
I'd love to see more material rewards, maybe something like cooking ingredients that can be gotten exclusively from quest givers and are good enough that they are "nice to have", but not a "must have". Maybe make the the local quality increase rewards feel more impactful, let it be up to 3 points and give people the ability to choose between 3 random ones. Basically anything besides quest rewards that force titans to run around the map 24/7.

Nah. I'd argue it's a general human behaviour. You act where you get more feedback in less time.
Prominently shown in the announcement threads.
