Exactly!

With seriousness though, yes. As developers, it is their responsibility to fix game breaking bugs - especially when reported privately with the intention of minimizing damage. Imagine how many more headaches they would have if every time someone found a bug they just dropped a tutorial video on discord and the forums which sends jorbtar scrambling to not only fix it but also figure out how many people used it before they did? When your players give you the grace of a private report, take it seriously or you don't reserve the right to cry about them assuming it wasn't a bug when you didn't fix it in 6 months.

Snail has enough dev capes to put one on every character he ever creates until the game dies. Any bug he finds and dms privately is doing them a favor - they have literally nothing to offer him in exchange for his efforts and haven't for years.

Didn't check the game for 5 years, glad to read some juicy events unfolding.

Might give the new world a shot if someone can get a hold of Trollex and ex-Hedgehugs for me, thanks!

Didnt snail himself say it was already reported during the livestream. So he didnt actually do any original reports, but did infact aboose, and seemingly the only person to abuse such things others had reported without any level of aboose?

These things did not "retroactively" become not bugs, they were all publicly known mechanics for years prior to your example.

All of this is entirely irrelevant, however. If I should've been banned for those things, then I should've been banned for those things.
Depriving somebody of an inventory of paintings for less than 8 hours and reporting two visitor bypasses in a week should (very obviously) not result in a ban.

Unironically very blatant bug bounty retaliation

This one is actually pretty ironic now I think about it. The nerds I stole the inventory of paintings from used this against our group multiple times during W16. Nobody gave a shit.

The nerd u were arguing with is one of their villagers theres clear bias here cause muh coinpress

unfortunatly snail has magic to get unbanned every time, while i do love the idea of snail, i do not love the constant bug abuse over the years with little to no consequences while begging for dev cape everytime. its one thing to die in honoruable combat ( as shit as the pvp combat is atm ), its another to abuse bugs on repeat, get unbanned and immediately abuse it again and flaunting it. snail magic xD wish they returned to the hat or die days, those were classic.

I just wanted to point out that there are more bugs than you think and snail had infinite amount of dev capes coz you could just "make them", so instead of adding capes, devs were removing them from his account.

It is very clear to me, and to everybody, that you would be autism arguing in the opposite direction if you were the one who got banned for reporting a bug.

Because you voluntarily chose to return it after 8 hours?

You keep saying that you got banned for reporting a bug. Your ability to twist language to suit your narrative is unparalleled.

Never once do you say "Yes, I did something wrong, and it was bad, and I won't do it again. I caused harm, and I'm sorry. These are the steps I will take to repay the victims."

You admit to abusing a bug to steal things, but only after clarifying that "They aren't that valuable, it was a joke"

And my favorite, "I could have done worse, but didn't"

I don't see any reason to forgive you.

You refuse to take any accountability for why you are so universally unliked.

Clearly, they're just being too heavy handed. Never report bugs again. That's the only take away.

Fuck you.

If you actually apologized, which you haven't, I just wouldn't believe you.

You wield words as weapons to manipulate and deceive.

Jorbtar should stamp your hat collection with a memorable footnote to commemorate the occasion of permanently releasing the community from your cancerous black heart and absent soul.

And then auction them off for charity.

I swear to God, if Snail says "getting banned for reporting a bug is obviously bad" one more fucking time, can we just permanently ban him from the forums too?

We don't need this dogshit here.

How many times did you drop rosegold to DC people? How many kills did you get? I hope the laughs were worth it. Goodbye forever.

One can hope.

If you genuinely think that you got banned for reporting a bug, seek help.
