Yeah, really disappointed with this one. Range is and has been for countless worlds dam near useless compared to melee. Not sure why the hell we're nerfing it even harder unless there is something I'm missing here.....

We have, thus, decided, after some contemplation, to launch one, and only one, server for W16, and hopefully that should be sufficient to handle the expected launch night peak.

While I do think this is the best outcome, everybody being on one server. Please atleast consider that it only takes one particularly popular streamer to see a sudden rush of 10k + people trying to play your game. In the event that happens, please have some sort of backup plan to be able to roll out more servers to accomodate the masses.

Many of those servers will end up dead, after a while, but atleast it gets those people in and hooked. Once those servers quieten down they may just move to the more active servers even if it means starting over. Both of those outcomes are infinitely better than not being able to get in at all and never looking at the game again.

Outside of being repulsed by the bow nerf, why the fuck was nothing done about Credos? You can fix them in under 10 minutes of work. You've had so many great ideas (I'm including my own idea too) about how to go about this but you keep leaving it in a state that is completely unacceptable. Nobody wants to do +10 quests for every completed credo, that is absurd. Are you trying to lose players to burn out? Like what the fuck is that? Be reasonable.
Put 7 credos in tier 1, 10 quests to complete any of them in this tier. Period.
Put 7 other credos in tier 2, 20 quests to complete any of them in this tier. Period.
Put the rest of the credos in tier 3, 30 quests to complete any of them in this tier. Period.

Exact same unlock requirements as we already have (so Nomad still requires you to complete Fisher, Forager and Hunter) regardless of what tier the credo is in (So even if Forager and Farmer are in tier 1, you still need to complete Forager before you can take Farmer).
That's all. That's literally all it would take to fix Credos.

Remove the damn ramping +10 shit. I cannot stress enough how unbelievably bad the current iteration is. Use literally anyone's idea, they've all been better than what we currently have, but do something ffs.

The launch will be a disaster.
It's a shame I wish the game to get the recognition it deserves for more than 10 years but there is no way we wont get massive lag/crashes like we did every worlds I played with a potential massive temporary spike coming from steam.

This world was pretty solid at world start?

This one was the only one I havent played since w6 or 5. I might have skipped another one I dont remember
Every other worlds were a shitshow the first day.
And I highly doubt the average joe who is used to usual steam games will have the patience to stay.

"That's literally all it would take to fix Credos"

Add - If you must bail a credo quest, that quest is flagged and you will not be given it again during that credo.

A couple of worlds ago I could not complete the relatively easy Fisherman credo. About a fourth of the way along it gave me a simple quest, deliver a certain fish to a certain tree ...except that tree was inside a large, unfriendly, village (people were actually warned not to go too near that place). I bailed, which set me back a step, did a couple more quests and was given that same quest again, bailed again, and repeated this til the end of that world.

As an alternative, do not allow claims to be built over quest givers and resources.
