I really like the game, but have no time for competition against time with other player/kingdoms/villages. I would like to progress with my own speed and maybe get some control of time(set seasons, respawn plants from foraging/animals, fast forward time while healing in bed/waiting for the crops to grow)

PVP and PVE are too punishing for hermits without a faction/village, but we still like playing the game, doing quests, getting credos. The only positive side of current all in one world gameplay - abandoned vilages where we can loot items and be killed by other players. Just let me build my village in peace

You can do it just by reading this thread, man. Seriously.

What surprised me while reading this is that even the newly added wolf dens in June haven't been played yet, but feedback and suggestions are already being provided. The opinions and perspectives can indeed differ between players with 100 hours of gameplay and those with 1000 hours.

I know that article. It's about defending your claim, not your life. There are lot's of things not mentioned there like never link a wagon to a wagon station inside of your base (Teleporting there with a wagon don't give you visitor debuff) A lot learned the hard way... Like switching work belts with tools to a travelling belt. And other stuff.

If you like the game as it is - thats good, but I think world 15 will be full of PVP activity due to changelist. PvP is okay for some looting areas with resources, but everywhere PVP is annoying. Let farmers farm, not fight. If I want to fight - I will.

The management's previous statement about wanting to create a game where PvP is possible rather than a dedicated PvP game suggests that removing PvP is not necessarily a mistake. However, the misconception that most PvP players have is that the game is meant to be a "game where PvP is possible" rather than a "PvP game." (In fact, if the developers were passionate about PvP, they would have made more frequent adjustments, and at least they wouldn't have made the hasty adjustments to "Go for the Jugular.") There's a significant difference between a "PvP game" and a "game where PvP is possible," with the latter being just a spice in the overall experience. I started the game from W5 with a different account, and back then, it was relatively easy to destroy palisades and kill players. Now it's much safer, so it might be challenging to expect any more significant changes in that regard.

If you remove pvp from the game, the game would require moderation to prevent griefing, and that wont happen. Haven's moderation is me being able to beat the living shit out of the guy that wants to palisade the local resources in my area, or build obstacles that block the exits of my village. Haven will never not have pvp because the alternative is something the devs aren't willing to do(moderate their game), stop coping. It's more than "just a spice".

No, I think having PvP in this game is a good thing.

Players have made it clear that even if the game were to have no form of PvP implemented, they're still going to engage in PvP.

There are places you can play without having to worry about PvP, places that either no one else knows about or that no one else can get to. It's just that it takes exploration or a lot of construction to get to those places. Call it 'PvEvP gaming'.
