I'm using the default client. even went in and deleted the files and let it reinstall, no go. EOF.

If you're having errors on the default client, then it's not the error quoted above. Please provide yours.

I get that error in both ender and and one other random custom client I tried. In the regular client I don't have the error, but I have missing my entire top left UI. Space does not bring it back. So I just have to guess how much stamina I have and luckily I remembered hotkeys for running

It's been a long while since Space was bound to showing/hiding the UI. That keybinding is now disabled by default. If it might be that that configuration has been saved thus for some reason (perhaps because a custom client does something different with it?), you'd need to bind a key to it to bring it back. It's "Toggle UI" in the Keybindings options.

Who the fuck plays past 6 months? I often quit after 6 weeks.

world 7 has also been fully persistent for like 12 years with no signs of stopping. Proly older than you and chances of pvp are <0%

Another user called this out. It's a christmas stimulus check.

That's reality from a business sense, but they could make so mmuch more catering to both crowds - the niche long term community and a seperate pve group. This launch proves they can even do sepreate continents at will. Give us a persistent PvE world. I'll pay 200 dollars year a sub for that.

a persistent world with acitve players despite being nearly 15 years old because it has no PVP
