Sure thing. AD just has the magic timing and feeling when a guy takes a port from his village or goes outside to hunt stuff several times in a row.

We were constantly patrolling around Dis villages, we had multiple hour sessions 4-5 times a week just patrolling around Dis villages and sometimes we would catch someone before most of us quit. Is that a punishable crime?
P.S. Saw the boat
There was a alt(don't know who) and troll(childhoodobesity) witnessing the moment of theft on your market
Moment of the theft =/= moment of the port.

Troll was pretty much following the second alt from the moment it ported in to steal the stuff and followed the alt until the alt left the main gates. If we would have actually used the visitor removal bug to steal the stuff, we would have trashed the market along with it too and perhaps killed some people that are using it.

I'm talking giving a PROPER punishment to the ones who exactly did it and every case differs, for example, you can't compare the core walljump bug case with this one, where we pretty much received the same severity of punishment as you received there, but you did dozens of times more than the damage than these 2 guys did. Punishing people just for being a friend of the bugabuser or a friend of friend of the bugabuser is a poor way to handle this exact case, especially, in a monetized game, where the innocent people lost their money, because of the dev intervetion. I wouldn't even have minded if these 2 people who were responsible would get banned from haven, since, the ones who didn't get involved in this wouldn't get punished for nothing.

Why you so stupid? Dont you understand the punishment is for avoiding some rules, not for damage. J&L dont care about damage. Just some forum clowns think that everything should be "fair" as they wish.

yet you claim to have known the bug for a while and not using it to trash the market. Now you're saying if you'd knew the bug you'd trash the market.

What? Where did I say that? I knew about the bug long time ago already.

'Hacked'? I very much doubt access to the accounts was gained through exploiting security holes in Haven. Account theft is definitely not acceptable (and potentially a real-life crime), but in almost all cases and definitely in this case access to the account was gained through some fuckup on the victim's side. It is not the devs' fault of you let them get access to your accounts.

Pan_w_okularach wrote:and only when one of us started crashing the server by leaving scents just to prevent the damage

This, on the other hand, is something that does directly concern the developers. I'm sure your petty rivalry is the world to you, but crashing the server harms the entire playerbase (both in downtime and in in-game problems caused by it, like people having gates open at the moment it crashed) and even the game itself (people get dissatisfied with unstable game and/or harm done by crashing -> people less likely to stay active -> game gets less active). Furthermore, server crashes are generally a thing the devs are blamed for (even if not explicitly), and they require the devs to spend their time fixing the bullshit you're abusing immediately and restarting the server.

When one is your own fault and entirely unrelated to the devs (even if it is extremely scummy), and the other harms all players and annoys the devs, which of the two forms of cheating do you think the devs will punish more severely? (Hint: It's not the one that has nothing to do with them.)

I think devs should do something if accounts are being stolen and they know who it is
Even if it isnt "devs fault"

Common side effect of sharing one's opinion on many things, I'm willing to accept it. Rather speak my mind and be hated than sit silently like most others.

There are ways to make an opinion, statement, or fact and have the people still respect you even if you are standing on opposite side of the subject. It can be tricky to do so depending on who is the audience but I feel there is at least an optimal success of doing so :) .
The vast majority of communication with others are not just words; it is also diction, body motion, and many other factors. Even doing nothing is communication in itself. The moment your eyes meet someone, you have initiated contact. In essential, it is a constant non-stop flow between two or more entities.
