1. 3 months is too short. Burnout will be real. No time to develop for hermits.

This is unbelievable.

The very same, little active player-base is now threatened with a division, that will potentially turn non-steam world into legacy husk.

I have no steam and will never install it, so I guess this is goodbye-in-progress and not an experiment as you call it, as I don't want to play in worlds with NO PLAYERS.


PS: Also, steam workshop enforces steam usage and after custom client developers finally decide it's "much more convenient" (see: terraria modding shenanigans and gog players) old world players will suffer further.
