Love this change! It does highlight one gap though — the best-quality wood isn't always the best-looking wood. A crafter shouldn't have to choose between stats and aesthetics.

I've put together a suggestion for Wood Stain & Wash — post-craft cosmetic treatments (Tar Stain, Limewash, Pigmented Wash) that let you recolor wooden furniture without touching quality. All recipes use existing ingredients (Tar, Linseed Oil, Limestone, Bone Glue, Pigments).

incredible work. loving this development direction. now if we could talk about steel production.
lots of threads, and you agree that something about it is just... not great!
i understand that steel is special. its one of the last kinds of gear you can make so it should be special, right?

but your player base is killing cachalots/trolls/mammoths by the end of the first month. arguably in the first weeks. most everyone knows what to do but the time commitment for 16.1 in particular was brutal. my mate worked nightshift, and was the only reason we had steel because he could keep things stoked while i was sleeping. but even during w16, steel was awful for a solo or small village. most players can not afford the dedication and i would argue that such demands on people's time cause burnout.

what else can be said except for Nice Patch Jorbtar
another stupid day of my worthless hermit life

Nice update. I just hope I won't get to harvest 100 watermelons as my next farnmer's credo quest.

Sooo there is no Beach Salvage in 16.1? And ability to fish for some trash is just disabled? Is global trash pool even a thing in this world?

Image
Then why is that a credo reward?

Why do you love the desert so much, you may ask?

Because it's clean.
Make friends with the other crabs or try to escape the bucket.
I'd hardly call anything the Bible of our times. » special thanks to MagicManICT
