To be fair we were just fucking tired of being outnumbered every fight. If i recall correctly it was like 16-17 vs 14 (Imagine having to ally 2 factions and then only having 2-3 more fighters than the other group) in the final fight or some shit like that. And for the first time they were outnumbered (like they did to everyone else for the whole world) and lost they just called us pussies for allying, said they won w14, and then quit the game so yeah. Not saying that allying wasn't pussy shit (it was) but the alternative was complaining about not being able to find equal fights and not doing pvp (We once went to your walls and it was fun but honestly it was such a fucking bother to go there, not to mention pvp on speed 4 is just ehh).

Having smaller world would lead to a lot more natural pvp encounters but at the same time it would be so much easier to get back-up (And i prefer smaller scale fights since they are more tactical and less zergy) so i'd limit the ability to tp all over the world if that were the case as to keep the fights somewhat isolated.

idek where ur pulling 100 man factions from nobody cares every world its the same group of fighters playing. u lived 1 province away from ad no shit u would have fought them a lot that's the point I'm making by incentivizing the retards to live closer. it took me 40 minutes to travel to Ozzy for him to say I wont fight you anymore and continue to spit roast, why the fuck would I continue playing the game when I can hop on rust or any other pvp game that doesn't waste my time.

I should not be able to walk around for hours with 100 scents lingering around knowing ill never run in to anyone relevant.

What Bleh said is shorthand that everybody who fights completely understands.

Nobody who fights gives a single shit the gamer girls that herd sheep in your village when you're talking about fighting. If AD has 8 fighters, Polska has 6, and Arcanum has 5 their faction has 19 fighters. It is a faction of 19. Gamer girls don't matter, even if there are a lot.

When you're talking about HOW MANY CHORES SHOULD BE IN THE GAME the gamer girls are suddenly a relevant point of discussion. 100 person village. Bro I promise you everybody it's relevant to except Msheep understands this, and Msheep maybe even understands too. Hard to tell where retard ends and blatantly lying begins.

Not sure on this point. After 10+ years we should stop pretending the world can ever go past 1yr and be healthy.

Did questing Q scaling actually damage this world? I heard rumours of some pretty high autismo quest results, but it didn't change whether or not the world was "done" or how early it was finished.

I semi-agree, TBH.

If the game were better it'd matter a lot, because conflict/fights/trading would happen all world and this would ruin it. But the game isn't better, and so few people play by the time it starts having an impact that it's pretty easy to argue it doesn't matter.

Still, in a room of 100 people I doubt even 1 likes questing on average. Having it be the entire end game seems dumb. May as well bring back spiraling at that point. Questing 16 hours a day to get quality 1,000 seals is clown world shit nobody wants to be a part of.

Spiralling was "supposed" to be back this world (based on the way they talked about it, assuming they understood what the players mean by spiralling at least), but they flubbed the math and it ended up basically being tied to clay aka not real spiralling. With the lava beside furnaces intro, I suspect they reworked spiralling, so maybe it will be.

The way it worked out (I heard 800+ bear) animals in theory should be able to beat/keep pace with it. But I think that was like 1-2 wandering sages based off some quest Q increasing napkin math I did earlier this world. If people actually autismoed properly as a faction/village effort it would blow animals out of the water.

I agree that questing as endgame Q grind is torture. But no one has really made it their life mission to properly break the system and the effort is monumental. And the fact that it outcompetes animals on something it feels like they should be a leader in is a bit of a feelsbad.

Didn't you guys literally spawn next to 2 big factions (who were not allied) in world 12 and ran from them till they quit, only to hunt hermits throughout that entire world? (the world in which everyone spawned on the central continent)
And then raided their base like 10 months after they quit too?

Or do I have that story wrong?

Anyway how come you guys had a change of heart?
