Yeah, stun the horse, whatever, BUT LET ME GET OFF AND RUN

in fact, the animation shows the horse bucking like crazy. shouldnt it just buck you straight onto the ground? why does the horse become magnetic while the T-1000 is coming at me?

-remove anyone on horseback from a PvP fight
-perhaps an option to dismount before the status ends, but it requires a lengthy hourglass or taking damage similar to a Wildhorse throwing you off

This has always from square one been the obvious answer.

Actually let me adjust this. If you're on a horse and you rawhide, your own horse gets the current effect, all other horses in range get the effect mentioned here.

Are you sure about this? The first whirlpools were spotted on the third day after launch W16.

Yes, Whirlpools were bugged in previous worlds and were fixed this world per loftar.

Snekkja requires hard metal, and players only spawned on the main continent, so discovering new continents within three days seems impossible.

;) You can cross the deep ocean spots without snekkja's with some clever tricks and lots of corpse alts

My request.
- No teleporting across sea, by any means other then knocked out.(no thingwall travel, no whirlpool teleporting, no charter stone. no hearthing)
- Remove bunny slippers. add it as a early creedo bonus or a dungeon bonus if it must be in the game.

- lower the per/expl on a lot of things to make the world feel more fuller early game
- add patches of flowers or collectable that give an item from a random item pool (can be seen at 0 perc and see many the lower you area), a failed attempt prompt tells the user maybe if they had higher Perception and exploration they'd see and find more.

- add the ability to throw things into the volcano
- automatic press (for wine press)
- An early world coinpress that can make clay coins (that can then be pressed back into clay like metal)
WARNING! MY ENGISH SUCKS.

More suggestions:
- Make deep oceans way larger. You should never be able to cross continent with a rowboat trick. Even using a snekkja to cross should be risky if you don't know where the other landmass is, Knarrs are clearly the deep ocean boat.
- Remove whirlpools (or limit them to same continent)
- Remove thingwall connection between continents

Crossing continents should be a big deal, not a day 1 event / a 2 clicks thingwall thingy.

Alternatively, let's experiment with an archipelago map. All small and very small island clusters. Very very few "continents"- aka bigger islands (way way smaller than the continents we're used to).
Might be a pain, might be fun. Who knows. Experiment away!

Archipelago style map would be interesting and fun. +1

[*] Non-visitor gates for siege significant wall types (Palisade, Brickwall) have been removed, and all gates in such walls will now be visitor gates. No gates will therefore any longer be visually distinguished with the red flags traditionally indicating a visitor gate, as the distinction will no longer be made.

this is going to be good for ppl in massive factions who play to kill and the newbs and hermits will die and leave the game since the punishment of death is massive in this game. and i do love the adrenaline i get from running away but if you do this then there is no point to even run honestly, you wont get away especially if you also add the remove speed buff thing like every pvp person over here apparently wants. im allmost keen not to even join next world since it will ruin the game for me because i dont want to pvp.

PLEASE DONT DO THIS

you still have safe palis, they’re called snekkjas, rowboats, it just requires atleast a bit more effort and planning than running in an out of a safe pali

are u mentally ill? you are only thinking about the experianced players in big villages some ppl have 5man village they wont get skekkjas as fast or as many as you will obv think about the smaller groups? is your goal to just have the big factions in the game? some 4 groups fightiing eachother and them being the only players in this game?

Sounds good to me.

If I'm on a horse and you're not, you shouldn't have a way to catch me. Simple as that.

If we're both on a horse, skill and horse stats will come into play (which also makes horse quality way more relevant compared to now).

Win-win in my book.

This is right. Give horses a total stat cap, you could breed for speed stamina etc, but not all on a single horse, let the horse stats play out. Penalty for wearing heavy armor, credo to make you faster, etc. Rawhide is a flawed mechanic, pvp is a big part of this game, supposedly, to reduce griefing, rawhide does not achieve that. Sounds good to me too.
