Last haven and hearth had 169 announcements before world 8, I wonder how man will there be this time until world 9? I am guessing less then 100.

the legacy client is blocked by security, is there a work around or did i waste 15$
edit: i added everything to the exception list and it says its blocked because its a self signed application, usually i can work around it just by adding to the exception list but it is not working, should i try just installing a old version of java?

there is definitely some workaround, i don't know what it is offhand, but i'm sure borka or granger or some other kind soul will come along shortly with the solution

If it is the same error i had, it is caused by new security policies (some old certificates may not pass new security settings). To fix you need to enable disabled algorithms:

• Go to path where your JRE (Java Runtime Environment) installed. In my case it is C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_66\
• Navigate into subfolder \lib\security (full path is C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_66\lib\security now)
• Open file java.security with any text editor
• Find a line, starting with a jdk.certpath.disabledAlgorithms=
• Comment it, by prefixing # (Full line in my case #jdk.certpath.disabledAlgorithms=MD2, RSA keySize < 1024)

in 1.8.0.72 it's line 509 ... running legacy without # prefix (also MD5 in it)
