Some developers just aren't that... "community friendly" I suppose is a good way to put it. I've played/own a few games that have kept on plugging along on development for a few years now, but you don't get a dev post on much but about once a month or so. The patches are only every few months. (I'll note they're sizable patches with bug fixes and content updates.) I think it's a matter of how much the devs want to discuss it and are comfortable discussing it. Nobody should be forced into making statements on the state of their game that they aren't comfortable with revealing.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Yes! This update could be a prelude for new improvements like automatic conveyor belts, assemblers etc! Imagine factorio haven
