In reading this entire thread the feeling that I have received, over and above that everyone agrees the new combat system is not a home run hit, is that the devs are actually asking you guys how it should work then. In all of the years that I have been a member here this seldom happens as they like doing things the way they want to do them and that's understandable.

What I'm not seeing is anyone taking this opportunity.

For years you guys bitch about the combat system and one would think that you know exactly how you'd like it to work but now when you actually have the chance no-one has anything constructive to offer?

And I don't mean 'ahmegurd kito so OP lel'.

You are being asked (begged almost) for your input as experienced PVP'ers and PvE'ers, yet you squander the opportunity? Why is nobody taking this chance to propose the system that by judging by the bitching you have done over the years, you have right in your back pocket?

'Cause let me be the first to tell you that you're a dick if you've just been bitching all this time without actually having a comprehensive solution.

Thank you for the consideration, but I would caution you that there will almost inevitably be setbacks over the course of a year's development, so disappointment may be baked in the cake. I would think three times before supporting us, I'm glad that you do, and certainly there are AAA productions out there more worthy and deserving of your hard earned shekels. I'm afraid that our experience with testing in Valhalla has been that it is lacklustre and uninteresting. No one bothers to really test it, because it doesn't really matter in Valhalla, and those who do, labor under arbitrary and obscure circumstances. Perhaps it can be improved upon, but I am somewhat skeptical.

omg, i just read 22 pages of shit thrown into devs face. Youre participating in THEIR project so shut your mouth or fuck off from H&H. Do those ppl think that shittalking 'bout devs will make sthng better? FCK NO! I agree that this system is quite raw, but its not the worst. 4 openings were rly unbalanced, green was usefull only in early game, yellow almost sucked, red and blue were usefull with all moves filled. Now we have 1 opening, and thats rly better than it was, cos present amount of moves CAN diversify your fighting style. This system is not finished, it has been living for 60 hours, and if you wanted the new and also ideal cs youre real dummy. Devs have a huge work ahead, so if you want it well done try to help them instead of mixing them with shit.
Im not a good fighter, so i shouldnt suggest smthng, but i can say that your idea is very interesting, moves transfer is not so bad, but still it needs some changes. Im sure many ppl are contented, you have a huge support, so never mind the bollocks heh, just go on improving H&H ;)

^^ I think that's a bit unfair, If you go back to page 10 I think you'll find that Troll, Jordan and Ziggy did all give detailed explanations of what they think is wrong with the new combat and a few others since have given constructive critique, Azrid, Vassteel, Mstya ... it's not all

except we are giving them feedback, we are telling them how combat should be and they are blatantly ignoring us

^ exaggerated, deliberately. Certainly didn't deem it necessary to explain that but, heh, this is HnH forums right.

Which post is the one with the detailed proposal of how experienced fighters propose a combat system could work and why? (I'll rather explain this time that this also implies 'not just commenting on what doesn't work')

Jorb HELP!
I have killed tamed goat in fight, after that game client (no matter custom or original) crushes immediately all the time. Now i cant login (all other characters in visible area of the death goat get same error).

Error:
java.lang.RuntimeException: Transformation k for equipment (<gfx/fx/knockchirp(v14)>, Message()) on skeleton Skeleton(gfx/kritter/goat/billy) could not be resolved

Uh, right, it probably lacks an equ-point for the knockout stars. Will fix that, sorry.
