The game has lost lots and lots of players, it needs new players and it's clear the old ones are incapable of bringing in new ones, and everyone seems to want their own little bullshit. Dis wants siege so they can drive everyone left that is not them from the game, other people want forageable curios to be good or fate curios in general, others want larpy shit like food one can't eat anyway, I want you to fight bots - there won't be any update that will please most of the people left heck or even many. You need to make the game appealing to new people, lots and lots of new people. If it makes the people already here hate the game so be it.

I share this feeling and thus qft.

The most important change that I think needs to be made is some serious promotion so that others know this game exists. People will keep quitting no matter what you do.

All the rest - crime, siege, combat, trade - is irrelevant and utterly pointless for playerbase maintenance since some groups will always complain and threaten to quit. Even if you're doing that just to test new mechanics, how reliable would those tests be with only 120 players online at a time? You would tweak those features for balance, but what's balanced for 120 might not be so for a world with 500-1000 active players.

Love the idea of what could be done for revenge instead of just follow the scent and find a BW'd place without being able to do anything.

Just an idea... This update was to accommodate for what has happened... What if there's some mechanics to actually prevent this from happening?

Like guard dogs that can be breed and trained to defend the place.

Nice update though :)

If the ghosts actually gave something when killed i'd be happy :P. Pretty easily abused though if that were the case. The only issue i have with this is how easy it is to mass produce these and also how easy it is for them to kill you in large groups. I kind of like the idea behind it though.

Maybe it should cost the sender something permanent, like the spook ghost steals 30 con or something.

inst the challenge of winning against the figure(s) of your own stat x1.2 (if not softcapped) satisfying and rewarding as a game content?

No? Constantly having to fight ghosts doesn't seem like satisfying end game content. I can't imagine them being a challenge unless there's a shit ton of them, and even then you'd just be dead if you logged in.

Bears have higher stats than me too (and probably higher than a murder scented ghost would for me), i wouldn't fight them if they didn't drop hides ;)

As i sayd before - Bullshit update. EXPLAINING: 1) now in crime you can't totally go afk for like 15mins to eat/WC/smth - because fking ghost can come and kill. 2) You must log in in 24h after the crime, if not - ghosts will kill you(example: you vandal/kill someone and go on weekend holyday to grandpa = your char is dead). 3) Any internet problem even if you are in safe = ghost will come and kill you. 4) You want to log off in the house, ghost agroes you when you just log and kill you. 4) no possible to play solo, because big faction can send 129389478 ghosts to seek and kill 1 char, no chance to defend yourself.
I bet it was Lothar idea, lothar ruined dransik, now want to ruin Hafen. Go on camon - There are 87 hearthlings playing.<<< will be less. If you have lack of ideas, better ask community, but do not make somekind of ghost and witches game with magic shit.
It's harcore survival/pvp game - that's why ppl playing this game. It means PLAYER VS PLAYER, not player vs ghost. You ruin basic mechanics of hafen.
Ok, im done.
