This would have been great if clothes kept some of their stats and gilding just served to provide a customizable boost, more in line with gem socketing from various games. However, Grinding multiple sites of items and relying on rng for crafting wasn't fun in -insert every free Korean mmo here- so seeing haven follow their model really sucks.

If all these threats of leaving turn out true and you need some extra income to make up for the loss of subs, just sell cash shop items that increase the chances of extra slots when gilding.

The stat boost cap is a good idea though.

everyone complaining doesn't seem to understand that you can easily get better than anything you had before because you can gild multiple items with the same bonuses. your farm hat only gives +8 now instead of +10? make a hat, 2 shirts, 2 pants, boots, robe and gild them all with chicken trinkets and you'll have like +50 farming. your int gear sucks now? sorry, but it looks like all the int gilds are silk or silver/gold or foul smoke so far, probably because people were abusing the shit out of int gear. eat some fish and blueberry pies or something. most of the other clothing didn't give any bonuses before anyway.

This update I am less bitter, no more like I wish they readded the warddrobe back since it adds a ton of options. Given the level cap (even if its not something I fully wish is as is but ya thats known), I have tried to keep my mains states even so I would not bump into the cap so soon, I am now glad i did. This is a stop thinking of what you lost but what you can gain, I mean furr boots can be an amazing extra, ranger gear while not as good as it once was is still fing cool looking. Want a chef to look a serton way now go get it, its so easy. Want to be all roman on your enemies past well needing armor, go for it.


Main issue is they should have added more options on to add just in case, item wise. but that is something they could fix just by adding more stuff.

But that's retarded and kills variety more than it helps it. Who the fuck cares if you can get base +30 with a full set of singular-slotted gear. You can do it on ANY gear but it KILLS CAPES and multislot equipment. Really bad system IMO. Keep some gear's base stats.

I have a hardilic cape that I gildeed twice. ya my cloak sucks balls, but the cape now does a lot of the work lol. Plus I have furr boots, and two linen pants making up the diffenrce... as it was I was running around with leather pants with this character to not be naked down in the that area.

I don't see anyone complaining about the total bonuses, you just don't understand why it's disliked.

people are. different people than you. your complaint is about it being required to grind moar, which is not the case. every attempt is successful. the % chance is for there to be the ability to add more gilds to the item.

how did i contradict myself?
