Come on now, don't just be facetious. You know this isn't the case, and the gardening pots have been pointed out countless times to make foraging useless.

Gardening pots did not make foraging useless. As others have pointed out its the lackluster items.

Instead of making blueberries and Lady's Mantles relevant, it might be better to consider making items like Glimmermoss the desired Sprucecap trade go to. Tons of ideas in threads like http://www.havenandhearth.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=66037

Adding stuff instead of taking away things in a game so large makes it feel more vibrant. Thanks for considering the feedback.

A revert? Really?
Was it "really" popular demand or a few individuals being vocal?

I am disappointed and by each day grow more and more bored of this game. There needs to be low-level items that hermits can offer up in trade. Blueberries were one of them.

I'm not even angry, I'm just... disappointed.

Bugs. Bug collections are good curios. Selling bulk bugs would definitely work better than selling blueberries would have thanks to this world's food system.

I literally set up my shop to buy blueberries after this update and now had to revert it.

I can't wait for you guys to start bitching and moaning about how you can't farm during the winter.

Lol?

By "a few individuals" do you mean the first 20 pages of this thread? I would say that more than a few were against these changes

Having to stockpile food before winter comes sounds fun tbh.

Thanks for a revert.
"the tantrum" mostly came cause of straight nerf without any reasoning except "someone said garden pots making foraging useless". it is such a small part of foraging problem that should not be addressed heads on first.

you made a good call and a huge step in right direction with bugs collection curio. there was a great idea in this post to make "foraging bonus finds" (spiders and webs) better to actually be a good reason to focus on foraging even with drop of original product. and maybe adding some more of them (especially changing bonus find on clams and mussels - weird to have webs on those).

and please, please write your thoughts behind changes (at least for game breaking ones)

Why not add things like there have been so many suggestions about? Why can't the character progression be forage low level stuff, grow low level stuff at increasing quality, search for rare shit that is out that is valuable. stuff like glimmer moss and boletes should feed the sprucecap economy no?

Blueberries are no fun to forage for and i forage for stuff.

Hermits can trade blueberries...to other hermits. Established villages, probably dont have any real need for them because there are better options out there.
