Probably should disallow all criminal actions, although Trespassing would probably have to be an exception.. and there's a seed for Convolution to sprout from.

Since 16.1 is somewhat of a test server, it should be Steam only imho.

As for only having visitor gates (no more "normal" gates), I've long suspected the devs stay up at night devising new ways to get us killed.

With only visitor gates, you are working outside your pali and a bear runs up. You cannot hearth away, you cannot run into the safety of your pali, you cannot outrun the bear, you aren't strong enough to fight the bear ..... so just stand there and die. (A simple solution if you just must eliminate normal gates is to allow any resident of that claim to run through a visitor gate if attacked.)

And if, as some players request, you could again bash palis by hand, there will be no need for a pali at all as it will be no defence against anything. Then each world will last no more than a month as it will be ruled by those whose enjoyment of this game stems solely from running around trashing everything, and everyone else tires of this and quits.

Once you activate the ability, you should no longer be able to attack anyone, but you can still be attacked while the ability is active, for example, for 24 hours.

The biggest advantage I see here is: If I meet someone who also has the skill active, there would be more social interactions in the open world.
