Might as well just take murder, or crime even, out of the game and rename it to farmville2.

negates armor and gets 1.2 stats for murder might be a bit op. killing hermits but being painless for a village

can this instead be a 'nightmare' for the character? when they log on they are in a small room and can't hearth or leave until they defeat the monster, and the monster or nidbane is not aggressive but cannot leave the nightmare until it is defeated?

and what about the damage of the nidbane? does it do light damage or heavy damage? or does it scale off the stats? if the nidbane does light damage then it wouldnt be as bad but still a nuisance

so what do we do when we raid a town? spend 4 days ramming and guarding a doubble bwall then once we kill people and theft things leaving tons of scents the next day we log on to about 40 ghosts? how stupid is this?

so what's the point of rangers and tracking scents?

what's the point of wasting all that time finding their hideout if you can just spawn ghosts to kill the criminals?

i mean sure i understand you guys want to do pointless updates since the game hardly has any players, but i don't understand the point of this patch.

it makes alot of sense that you allowed them to be killed by players that have nothing to do with the crime scent, why not just log out of main and kill it with alts or have friends kill it unharmed?

If you read the thread you'd see that the devs are thinking of making the ghosts prematurely summon and kill their target if provoked by another character to stop the abuse of alts.

What risks are you willing to accept/should there be for committing crime, then? You are complaining because crime is no longer risk free, which is hardly the same as the game being farmville, is it? In fact, it used to be farmville noob stomping for raiders, and is arguably less so now.

The "iffy" thing about this mechanic is how binary and hard to balance it is. Either the raider loses nothing, or everything. If the ghosts are too weak then raiders will brush them off without problem. If they are too tough then you end up with a mechanic worse than trial by combat from Salem - a guaranteed kill. How about finding some mechanic which damages the raider without automatically killing him? Or am I wrong and ghosts deal some nasty, hard to heal wounds already?
