Thank you, Jorb and Loftar.

I was pleased to discover that the new world doesn't feel overcrowded. There are people around, but not so many that wherever you go you are surrounded with settlements, and generally also with neighbours who feel overcrowded and don't want you settling (worlds 15 and 16).

As new worlds go, it's quite decent, at least as far as I've seen in the first three days, while also maintaining my base on world 16.

Some areas on the map seem completely empty while other areas are one settlement after another.

I concur. I've been bitching for larger worlds for a while now and after dropping world 16 in record time, I'm pleasantly surprised to see that worlds have gone back to being spacious. There are people around but everyone isn't cramped together, I can actually run around and not see bases every 5 squares.
This is much more enjoyable.

I'll be sticking around this world for the long term.

On top of that, fast travel was nerfed in some ways too, so it's not as easy for people to just go around and checklist siege every base they see. They need to actually choose the targets they sail 2 hours towards or only siege locals.

It's actually a matter of "you pissed off our allies, you took our local resources" now, rather than "you take 50 Will and a cigarette to travel to"

Shall the Content Updates also occur at an increased pace?
It would make for a most impressive display of ludonarrative coherence!
