It can be annoying possibly, but there's a mechanic in game to handle it already. Claim griefing was a massive issue historically so we've been through this already.

Isn't there a mechanic that your banner(VC) need to be at least 90% old of the personal claim that you want to declaim?

Villages using "Revoke the Privilege" have since May of last year been capable of revoking personal claims older than themselves, provided that they are within 90% of the age of the claim being revoked. Apparently we never seem to have posted about this change, but we have now updated the description of the action to reflect the accurate situation.

According to this, any claim made after your Vclaim can be revoked it seems.

Yeah but this requires you to spread over your vc all over the place in a big radius around your village, like it's not really an issue but it's annoying to do so.
Just giving villages a heads up when someone places a claim nearby would go a long way (i mean they can still place it overnight when you sleep but it'd be better than nothing)

I'm not opposed to that. Wallchecks still haunt my nightmares.

There are many reports that without pvp this game will not be the same. For my friends and I, only the PVE component of the game is of great interest. And what puts us off the game is that someone in the middle of the field can kill a character for fun. we started playing several times and every time we die from murder lovers and we leave the game, later we return and everything repeats. We are simply being killed by a bored player, this is wrong. Someone says that it’s like in life, but in life there is and has always been a serious punishment for killing innocents (there are exceptions, but that’s not what we’re talking about), this is not the case here, all you have to do is sit out a couple of days and that’s it, you’re clean. The game has so many amazing mechanics and things implemented, but the killers turn you away from the game.

If your character actually gets murdered you can post about it and share your location on the forums or on the unofficial discord, there's plenty of other bored people who are looking to kill other people, especially since murder scents can be tracked for 7 days.

can you explain what do you mean by PvE component?

If you enjoy killing 99% of animals from a boat with 2 keyboard buttons or blocking Mammoth with palisade and doing the same then there is something wrong with you.

I am not offensive there, but PvE in this game is daily chore rather than enjoyable moment. Animal AI is stupid as fk

for us pve - we come to any joint game in the evening to chat on discord during a common online activity. Everyone chooses an activity to their liking, right? and no, we try to jointly defeat such enemies as mammoths and killer whales, using stats and not the landscape. It’s just that in the middle of the 13th world, someone killed one friend in a field, then they killed another in the mines and they left, there is no time to work again on the character’s statistics to catch up from scratch. in the end we quit and go to other games. We return, watch the content until again one of us runs into a very bored player. and so people fall off again. it's part of the world, it's just depressing, we play for fun and we have fun.
