Sorry, I'm not going to handle all the special cases and state management of carrying it between various containers.

How about making it liftable only when it doesn't have a hand attached to it? Cause you can move the containers in and out of its range. Isn't it (almost) the same situation?

Pretty much the same thing with cupboards, isn't it? Can load them into carts empty, but not if anything in them?
