oh boy.... first they implement that cap, now - the approach to mitigate that. It just so inconsistent. At least that cap aimed to increase trading in the later game. Remove that circle or both. This convoluted and unnecessary complexity is so not needed.

Well I believe the point was to atleast make the people that are 24/7 afk botting farms to need to build those circles every month, atleast it's some additional activity to it but it does seem a bit unnecessary

I guess what the devs see for late/mid game is boats loaded with wheelbarrows trading piles of crops from a place to another ?

This seems like another botters wet dream. More reason to put HFs at natural resources and palisade them. GREAT PATCH...

ARCHERY QOL PLEASE. Bulk arrow crafting. Stance/Moves. QL to damage ratio fix!

I don't see the problem. If you find manage to raise crop quality, either by finding a better spot or by using crop circles (or likely both), you can still trade your higher quality seeds.

:) I dare to guess that ppl who are botting will keep botting. To be fare, many eventually end up buys crop seeds from them probably. In a way it is OK - it stimulates interactions and trading.

Devs could implement a tradeoff: make crop base growth rate (adjusted by inversely proportional to quality of the local node in relation to the crop q. And then remove that cap. The system will be more natural. In that case everybody can grow q of crops, just at slower rate if their crops exceed node q (with some Jorb's fudge factors included). To me it looks fair and straightforward.

So you can make circles to buff qualities, and then they break in the winter? Does the quality buff drop when this happens? Or is the goal to store up salt and shit over the winter to do it all over again in the spring?

Does this mean you could just harvest/replant once, build a shit ton of circles, harvest and replant 1 more time and get the gains of a season's worth of harvesting (or more)?

Edit: I read it as a flat +10 buff to quality per circle, nvm
