There are many ways to make it more fair but it seems like the devs have no interest in fixing anything. Why even release it on Steam? New players are just going quit because the devs have a really dumb take on PvP and bot prevention. Forum goers take pride in making less experienced players quit and then complain why the server is dead.

Wdym fair? It is fair. Everyone can make a client and all the bots, everyone can grind stats like mad (even without the bots) and group up to make it easier. What you guys are asking for is for everything to be equalized regardless of skill/effort/amount of time/group size/coordination/etc put into the game. Why should one who logs into the world 5 month late be able to compete with someone who was grinding for 5 months?

What's allowed in H&H would get you insta-banned in every other online game. It only sounds fair to you because you have spent over a decade in this echo-chamber of a forum. Put a disclaimer on the Steam page that the use of 3rd party bot software is allowed. Everyone seems to be very proud of it after all. Tell new players what they are really getting into.

The Steam release is going to be one hell of a reality-check if they don't change.
