this PVP game shouldn't teach your PVP mechanics because I don't like PVP

Don't care that you have a bad opinion about an irrelevant subject. But there's degrees of bad opinions, right? Some opinions are so bad that I don't have enough empathy to put myself in your shoes and even begin to figure out how you got there. Without an ounce of hate in my heart I'm medically interested in how you can be this stupid. Is it just this one blind spot, or is it your entire life? Is it like an emotional issue leading you to bad reasoning, or is it a complete lack of ability to reason? Do you struggle to fill out forms? I'm gonna be thinking about this in the shower weeks from now

Talking about people being unbelievably stupid while maintaining the most bizarre bias I've ever seen is really weird.

Surely you realise that your obsession with pvp in haven is actually a really unusual way of engaging with the game. It's up to you how you play, but this being a survival mmo with permadeath and a high time investment, most people simply don't want to pvp, and that's fine.

The simple fact that you literally have to bot or be supported by a group of pve players in order to meaningfully participate in pvp should be enough to help you understand why most people simply don't care.

If I, a hermit or small group player who doesn't want to bot, wants to pvp, I could play the game for 6+ hours a day and I still wouldn't be close to being competitive. If you think otherwise you're larping. Disable your bots, play alone, and next world you won't be beating anyone who is part of a group.

You talk about how stupid you think people are, while maintaining a really narrowminded, biased interpretation of this game. That's hypocritical!

By the way, if everything in the game revolved around pvp, the already-dwindling playerbase would evaporate completely. 99% of players only play this game because they will never meet annoying pvp-obsessed botters such as yourself.

I kinda agree that he is biased (as everyone is, this is videogame forum, mate), but in this selected example you are horribly wrong. Haven pvp is mostly about game knowledge, not gear and stats.

Man, you don't need anything to kill naked farmers at Rust and getting their loot, same logic at Haven - you can win pvp against most of the community just by using bronze sword and breastplate. I think we can agree that you don't need cybersport team and bots to achive bronze sword tech level, right?

It's obvious that Jorb and Loftar are finally moving toward PvP flagging. Anyone who doesn't enjoy being ganked by players who bot and cheat 24/7 can simply opt out of PvP and enjoy the game.

The only players upset about this are the ones who want to bash hermits.
