People quitting after lategame industry isn't going to be solved by removing PVP. That's probably a deeper issue that needs to be addressed with additional content/realm systems/etc etcbeansahol wrote:Like how many hours have you spent patrolling rivers for fresh meat but all you find are hollow base shells, you look at the server count and its like 93.
Zero, you don't need to be a PVP sweat to understand how PVP as a system works to benefit the game as a whole. There's still a lot to be done to ease friction around engaging with it, thoughbeansahol wrote:u fellers

No one said anything about removing pvp. The threat of pvp is very important in this game.
All I said was that adding mobs that behave like players is a) probably not possible and b) would suck.
Learn to read before you stick your big nose in.
A lot of you forum autists obsess over how the game teaches mechanics. It doesn't and can't. There are so many systems and complicated things about haven - it's a wiki game through and through. Everyone knows that. You can't even have a good experience if you play on the base client.
The reason most players don't get far is they realise how much time it takes to do stuff relating to building quality/industry and opt out. That's fine. It's a very autistic, grindy game. Don't think for a second that if there were rabbits that are harder to chase, that would lead to an upick of people fighting you in steel.
