Raw Hide could cost like 10 000 exp for players who have RAGE skill
and 30 000 for players who buy MurderRage skill.

Seems pointless. Might as well wipe everything and offer different experiences.

17 & 17.1

17 being a fresh persistent world that never gets wiped, but has no PVP elements, an entirely PvE server; charge 5 dollars to access it a month, or 50 for the year with the time on your subscription being your claim authority.. give people a 14 day claim protection window to purchase another sub.

Consider it a “PAID PERSISTENCE program”. The PPP. There’s a large swath of people that would play this game if the PvP elements weren’t a factor.

17.1 - the free to play server can be whatever you’re doing now, or intend to do. Push all new updates there first, and keep PvP enabled here. Wipe every six months to a year.

I don't think you guys realize how many trolls play this game (not the ones in the mines).

A world without PvP means you can't harm any character that is blocking you. And knowing this community, there would people running swarms of alts just to block your gates, surround localized resources or npcs, block rivers with ships, block cave entrances/exits and so on.
Also, depending on your definition of PvP, there would be another huge consequence:
- If you don't consider crime as PvP, you would be unable to stop anyone from vandalizing your base or stealing your stuff.
- If you consider it PvP, and therefore remove it from the game, you open the door to a whole new level of griefing through building indestructible stuff.

This is a recurrent topic, and there will never be a solution. PvHaven will never happen, as they have no intention to allow private servers, and without it it's just griefer-palooza.

Just keep pushing to mitigate blocking. Yes you can troll that way, too, but the trolls find a way no matter what you do. Also pushing someone into a wolf pack is way funnier than body blocking someone's kiln or whatever.

Claims as they are already prevent a lot of this. Anything not on a claim is bashable. That’s how it is already unless you have vandalism. If someone wants to spend 5 dollars a month to maintain a claim to grief and support the developers, seems like a small issue. Make it 5 dollars per character. lol

I do hope that all this time you guys have been away from the forums you have been doing updates... and people were waiting for this new world... but from the group of people i usually play with it seems like only a handful have any interest in playing 16.1. Typically everyone gets excited and we have a ton of people ready to go and taking days off work etc. that excitement is just not here this time...

You guys might be trying to be cute by leaving it up for us to discover... but i think the fact that you guys haven't put out updates in months has eroded alot of peoples trust...

i feel like not many hermit/farmer/larper types will return and as a result there wont be anyone for the pkers to hunt... and it will lead to a super dead world very quickly.

I really hope you have something big up your sleeves for this world and if you do you actually might want to share a hint of it because this current announcement isn't pulling back in the usual people who return.

There is a "Push" skill in the game. It's the first thing you unlock just in case someone decides to login on 900 accounts to surround your palisade with alts.
Make the "Push" skill work on everything that could be used to grief players.

Oh yea when are we gonna get wounds as achievements added to steam. Ya think I forgot about that devs.
Since steam doesn't have a limit how many achievements there can be.
