Well, it's a shame it didn't cut mustard but I'll still look forward to W15. Hopefully it won't be another W4 situation where you need to push major changes fast.

I'm still excited about the lava, for one thing! I don't know what to think about the changes to how stats are calculated, especially with people here saying that combat stats aren't as important as where players go or how fast they can move during a fight.

It turned out armor scaling didn't work out particularly well due to its linear nature.

There already is, and has been for quite a while. This whole change was supposed to bring the same thing to STR/CON.

You guys gonna fix feasting and make the world not retardedly large/sparse? I barely care about anything else by comparison.

I know UA/MC equalization exists. I was asking if we can just have str/con/agi equalization without any of the other stuff.

It's not really related to armor scaling etc

Can't you, like, tune the armor values?
It was stated that weapon and armor values would be fixed, i assumed y'all were changing the numbers then, so that it fit the new system.
Am i missing something? Is it something about the "linear nature"? lol

Yes please, Jorb/Loftar.
This was an extremely attractive change, and I'm still hopeful you can make it work, even if it's not exactly on launch day, and even if it requires a rework of armor scaling, understanding that will change combat balance and the meta slightly, that is fine.

Let's also not pretend that armor scaling worked 1:1 with str growth under the previous regime, either.
