I'm not falling for this again, I'll wait for my claim to settle, but this is just wrong. Check timers please.

I was on bashing spree, sorry :^)

Mhm and I guess you came back and bashed my Stake Claim after, yes?

And downed my timber house to ~50% but for some reason stopped halfway, and left cupboards and stockpiles inside intact?

This is some next level shit right here. Stake Claim decayed before it has a chance to settle and gain presence.

I have to say that my stuff haven't had any problem at all with decay, though, but I'll have a look at it.

Okay, serious feedback here. I've been forced to move into a nearby cave with my friend, after:

7 drying frames died before even showing some kind of a timer on their contents - 5 on unclaimed groung, 2 on claimed (but not active yet) ground, never had more than 2 at a time;
An outside fireplace degraded to ~30% health in 2 hours
A Timber house degraded to ~50% health in 24-36 rl hours (inside the house stuff was|is still all right and working)
A Stake Claim died (vanished, gone "poof"). Speaks for itself.

Note: I do have a neighbour with a claim, a boat and a dwelling. He should've been a fricking flash cat burglar to destroy my stuff whereas I couldn't have seen him at all. I've left my objects unattended, never for more than 10 minutes, mostly 1-2 minutes (go forage5-7 stuff - get back - process - repeat), so, while theoretically my stuff could've been destroyed by a griefer(s), this should've been one hell of a coincidence (or one hell of an elusive griefer).

If needed more info, I'm ready to supply it, my account and all. As I've said before, this is some next level shit. Never seen it before, don't really care for it to carry on. Kill it with fire!

I had this exact experience, as well. Crates, barrels, dreamcatchers, chairs, tables, etc. All randomly popping each time I left my spot for more than a couple minutes. I'd come back and find that 75% of the things I'd built had either exploded or degraded to near death.

I did think maybe I was getting trolled at first, but then I came on to find my stake claim most of the way dead (<25% remaining health), in addition to everything else in my base.

Afer losing quite a few constructions to decay ticks, I've scrapped some LP to get Yeomanry and put up a claim stake. I didn't leave my map grid just to see my stake claim disappear before it settled to receive a shild protection (it vanished in under an hour, and I have an in-game "roommate" to support my statement).

Maybe the random function determining the decay coordinates now floats the locations together (by bug) into hotspots, so only the ones who settled onto one by chance will notice the full force of destruction while the ones in cold places live a happy undisturbed life...?

Thanks god, I thought I was imaging things (and hence didn't post anything about it).
Placed 3 stockpiles, while going to place a 4th one the rest went poof.
