If Jorb&Loftar do not find a good solution to block spamming the game with alts and doing artificial work on them, it would be better if the community split into 2 separate servers.

* The current server, where each player can commission work for bots and alts as they want and as much as they want and let them have fun just like every world with artificially driven work in which they did not put too much attention to their efforts.

* Steam server with alt blockers and a bot catcher for players who want to play with the development of their own characters in mind and at a normal pace as much as each person is able to put effort into the development of the world.

Everyone would have a server like they wanted. Someone will immediately cry that this is a division of players, that the server will have few players each. It is said, it will be difficult, it will be everyone's choice whether they want to play the rat race with bots or without.

What I would like to see is that 2 servers start at the same time and see what difference there will be on the servers, the quality of resource acquisition/character statistics with or without bots to see how the servers are developing.

As for the topic of hats, transferring them to both accounts would be a bonus that players would be sure what type of game they prefer.

People don't bot because it's fun. People bot because some mechanics in this game are awful and don't respect your time.

Yeah, catching dragonflies or trapping mammoths is not fun.

Lets all forfeit grinding because it's not fun and lets go play with barbie dolls

Bro is literally talking about having to wake up in the middle of the night cause your steel crucible is running out of fuel and you can't just add more than 7.5 hours worth of fuel in it.
Stop acting retarded razzbane.

I agree with the people saying that there are certain tasks in this game that are immensely irritating (past the point of being reasonable) and those types of things really lean into having you use alts.
Credos in their current iteration do this just by nature of how the number of Credo's you have completed influencing the number of quests you have to complete in the next Credo that you take.
Things like that are piss easy to fix, I've made suggestions on how to and so have others and every single one of them would result in a much better Credo system than we have now that doesn't incentivize using alts.

With that being said, I still fully support any and all ways to remove alt spam. The good they bring is outweighed heavily by all of the negatives. Shit like Steel and Credos should just be fixed to not have you wanting to use alts and alts themselves should be disallowed, especially when those types of things are so damn easy to fix.

I really mean it every time I say that alts are the cause of 99% of this game's problems. People have been misled into thinking it's botting, it's not botting, it's alts. Specifically, tons of alts that are utiltizing the botting and making it cancerous.
If you only had 1 character and you're botting.... what? Farming, cheese making, eating? One at a time? Nobody gives a shit.
When we've got alts with bots running around pinging hunting zones or every localized resource having alts logged out at them which are logged in when they're up or alts botting industry for you while you're just doing your usual shit on your main, that's the real problem.
If you only have 1 character, you're only botting one thing, unlike how it is now where you've got bots doing fucking everything for you.
It's an alt problem. I won't stop saying it, that's the truth of the matter. Deal with the alts and the game immediately will start to heal and be better.

But for the love of God fix Credos and shit too.

Alts are just a symptom of many smaller problems/bad mechanics. Credos obviously, but I am not going to waste my main's stamina and hunger on mundane things like chopping trees, removing stumps, leveling land, building, etc. either. Being a hermit is nigh impossible without alts as well.

Dream catcher
Cheese
Drying racks
Smelters
Finery forge
Whaling
Etc etc etc

The larger the village, the more all of this on one person becomes impossible. I don't even boy usually. I have in the past though.
