Today was 10 days since world start without an update, which is the longest time without a first update of a world ever, at least since hafen.

Is this really surprising? Free travel and no safepalis is a death sentence to an average player. This ruleset punishes weak villages that could otherwise move to some remote parts of the world, where they wouldn't be bothered that often. Now, no place is a remote one, you can go anywhere in a matter of seconds, together with your friends that never took time to explore the world.

In the past, PVP was thriving precisely because of the world locality that allowed multiple regional powers to exist and develop. W10 to w12 were the best in that regard, before thingwalls were even a thing.

Hunting change brings some novelty, but that's it. 16.2 is a dream world for those who play to kill the others, but for everyone else it brings absolutely nothing.

You have removed cheese hunting but have given us nothing in return : Jorb or Loftar please go kill a bear yourself and tell us how you are having fun doing so : You have essentially taken away hunting from all solo players at this moment
Implement a throwing spear (different from the current one with more damage) or something else to compensate for this ffs

tryhards had basically infinite travel weariness by week 3 or 4 at the latest in world 16/15/etc

you're not experiencing your adversaries having a new advantage you're experiencing parity

Not fun world with few unpolished changes and additional chores
Permanent pvp mode with free travel was the worst possible idea you could implement

Overall 2/10 because I got baited to play it for a week, otherwise 1/10

Idk where is joy of discovery, as there was nothing fun to discover so far

No changes to cancer credo system
More annoying hunting with random ass combat moves on top of it
Removal of safe pali/safe house discouraged a lot of casual players
Poorly implemented hunger reduction when someone in our village with more stats than me got more hunger reduction
Rollback to w16 speed without adjusting anything we told you to adjust

The only good things that work as intended is shared Thingwall knowledge withing party and rollbacked gilding system
Selling high quality tools for tokens. PM for more details

I think the worst part is that there are plenty of good additions/changes they could make that players have been waiting on for a long time. Instead they listen to some dumbass giving them stupid ideas like prevent aggro from dropping while you're in a house and can't enter gates and locked doors while in combat, wow so useful for the average player.

Meanwhile they are still in here crying about the lack of pvp anyways.
