Well done, Audio.
You could have just written, “You’re nothing but a bunch of morons,” but instead you acted like a true gentleman—congratulations.

Technical issues aside, wouldn't a wall of alts be instantly defeated by the Push command?

You think the wall of alt will stop with one line? it will be a double alt wall to make sure you can't push

#1) Push is ultimately limited by SHP (because it's a crime. Does push even exist in PVE world?)
#2) In the fantasy world of extremes that we have to talk about when discussing the problems of the PVE world, it wouldn't be impossible to just have an arbitrary number of headless clients automated to walk back to their original position if you push them

Aside from the fact that anyone spamming walls of alts should go to therapy, the issue is very easy to solve: make characters walk through each other, like in many other games. Just like HF used to be solid, and then became walk-through so people stopped using them for makeshift walls.

Characters being "solid obstacles" is only useful in PvP environments, so if you're playing around the idea of a PvE world, that's an easy fix to your alt-wall problem

A PvE world? If the devs actually do that, the world would be dead on arrival. I wouldn’t even bother trying it, and I know a lot of others wouldn’t either. There are already plenty of games out there if you just want a farming simulator.

For the PvE lovers, if you want a PvE world, you already have World 16. And if not, just wait a couple of months and World 16.2 will be PvE too.

The first two months of every world are when the game is at its most fun — when there’s activity, wars, base building, etc. After that, it turns into a farming simulator where the 50 people who are still playing just spend their time improving the quality of their crops and animals.

PVE is a bad idea and anyone who asks for it hasn't thought it through thoroughly enough.

If you can't come up with a mechanic to prevent this, then just add a command that bans all accounts associated with the same IP from the PvE server and cancels all their actions. Imagine spending an entire day claiming and walling everything off, only to have it all undone with a single command. That should eventually discourage griefing. To be honest, this could be fun to watch.

Too bad these two hardworking gnomes are apparently far too greedy to give up that much power and far too busy to actually do the moderating themselves.

PvE players don't want the game to be dead so they can play a singleplayer offline game. The hardcore PvP permadeath nature of PvP in Haven does have its downsides. It's not perfect.
Imagine seeing a player icon rapidly approaching you on your minimap. What kind of feeling does that evoke? :?
A PvE world would make for a good experimental World. Maybe 16.2 is exactly that.
