Its likely that Loftar added this after seeing the number of adder fangs thrown on the ground reached 6 digits

I actually kept all of my Adder Fangs.

...but I don't have any dried adder skins left, sadly, so I still can't make the new accessory.

Why do you still get swamp fever even while riding a dugout? Why did you decide to add some bullshit wound to swamps just because you happened to be deving around the idea of swamps tonight? Just sprinkling wounds around whenever you go? For what?

More likely, it was the people complaining about swamps being too safe at the start of the world (before the Midges started spawning):

Not sure what they were thinking with this swamp wound, seems like another thing to screw over new players for no apparent reason.
Swamps are very important for early game progression and if the thought here is that people should just avoid them I'm not so sure this is a sensible addition. Just another reason to use alts for everything aswell.

"Haha get fucked, thats what you get for playing the game! Die sprucecaps, die!" - Jorbtar, probably.

blame the stupid idiots who thought it was a good idea to complain to the devil that hell wasn't hot enough
