Good Haven is less tedious; not more tedium.

Players build a huge palisade as soon as they have leather.
In the real world without a lot of workers, not all villages could afford the rapid construction of a palisade, or even build one at all.

Maybe we could add another type of fence that would be roughly like a palisade, but could be broken down manually (with tools).

Or we could weaken the palisade and add a palisade with an earthen rampart that could only be broken down with siege weapons, and then it and the subsequent ones would cost the same as the original post.

1. Something that noone needs and will use
2. Make palisade thing that noone will use
You have an apparent building with elevator. You could either use said elevator (fast, but not reliable if you have unstable power or need to lift something out of cabin dimensions) or stairs (slow but reliable).
On anual property owners meeting you proposed new idea: lets install narrow, power dependant stairs that you actually need to step on to move.

Well, escalators are quite often used in mall.

Also make entering cave/dungeon impossibru while on combat

The palisaded gates are actually optional in this setup. (I'm aware it's amusingly unsafe, but there's still methods to do this)

and how you gonna lure him there if u cannot pass the gates while in combat?

Re: Summary of Player Feedback & Suggestions for World 16.1

Havenasket wrote:• PvP & Combat
Rawhide: needs a clear on-screen range cap, visible line-of-sight check, higher cooldown or stamina cost, and removal of the instant dismount-stun chain.
Transparency: publish actual numbers — range in tiles, stun duration, cooldown — so players can test and discuss balance instead of guessing.

• Anti-cheat / Anti-bot
– Server-side detection for automation and combat scripts.
– Real penalties for client exploits and “auto-aggro” tools.
– Remove the advantage of running 10+ alts and macros.

• Siege & Defense
– Allow defenders to choose a defense window (e.g., 2h slot within 24h).
– Add a ransom / buy-off option to end hopeless sieges.
– Increase cost and setup time to discourage grief sieges.

• Regional PvP Zones (Albion-style)
Green: no PvP except against flagged criminals.
Yellow: opt-in PvP via toggle at Hearth Fire, visible arming timer (~60s).
Red: full PvP, no penalties, but higher quality nodes and loot.
→ Adds choice: safety for casuals, risk-reward for PvPers.

• Public Infrastructure
– Wells and markets need special claims or reinforced protection.
– Destroying community assets shouldn’t be the “reset button” for the whole world.

• Private Worlds / Moderation
– Optional hosted worlds managed via a web control panel, not source code.
– Local admins/mods handle griefs; bad servers die out naturally, good ones thrive.

• Comeback Tools
– Improve nidbanes, traps, and fortifications.
– Add real recovery options after raids — players shouldn’t have to quit to restart.

• Travel & Logistics
– Consider removing or limiting thingwall / wormhole teleports.
– Let distance actually matter again for trade, politics, and warfare.

Goal in short:
Less pointless griefing, less botting, more skill-based fights. Keep the hardcore edge — just make it fair, readable, and worth engaging with.
If risk is “the soul of Haven,” it should come from challenge and planning, not from scripts and loopholes.

Add stat caps to this please.

Suggestion: self hosted or dedicated private server for me and my friends
We want to play again in hnh, but without mmo resource q race, without grifing and player killers

Requested features:
Backups and rollbacks, rolling back by interface or via OS (scp, cp)
Pause , unpause server by command
Option to pause server when there are no players

How much it will cost? Also may be it will be monthly payment

May be other players will found my suggestion interesting and it will be more popular and successful feature than single mmo server

Why people constantly asking about single player/private server version of the game, when it's increadibly boring, content-poor, and generally just uninteresting without the element of constant paranoia from strangers? Better to just play Stradew Valley with mods idk...

Why do PvP players alway complain about it, when PvP in Haven is increadibly boring, poorly designed, and generally unenjoyable? Better to just play Rust or Albion.

It all comes down to preference, people find haven interesting and with enough content to keep playing with pve only. There are people here that basically only do farming, others who like questing and still have fun.
You can't force people to be happy about being PvPer's prey. At least 90% of the time people spend in this game is not about PvP, so it's only natural that people ask for changes to a small in comparison part of the game they don't enjoy.

Make the PvE 100x more brutal.

-no claims or walls
-your character can't logout
-Murderous Rage always on by default
-food spoils, tools rust, everything decays
-your character ages and dies after a month
-brutal winters (temperature affects you)
-infectious diseases
