While at the subject of depressing: can we please have the low yield ores changed to give nuggets (or smaller units) instead of no bars but smelters full of gneiss?

Hell no. Having to smelt everything back into bars would add a lot of tedium to the process. Plus, I like how I get massive amounts of stone from smelting. It's only a matter of time until I can build that Stone Tower.

Keep up consistent updates. Already we have had more content added in one week than some AAA titles.

We need Kingdoms. Otherwise a lot of people will get bored fairly soon.

The majority of the Kingdoms post was about siege, and is no longer translatable to the current siege system. While there probably are aspects from it that could (and perhaps should) be adapted to current mechanics, that lends itself to countless formulations, and at least some portions of it seem to be obsolete. I'm curious what it is you see about it, specifically, that should be adapted.

How so? The part that I think piqued interest the most was the vassalization of claims, creating royal claims, etc. and I feel those things could fit in to any siege system really.

Yes, well, the question is perhaps what vassalization of claims means when you no longer need the tax points to wage war on other factions. I mean, not arguing that it's meaningless, but that was the main feature of the system in my mind.

Vassals contributing with a XP tax to the kingdom in order to turn random noobs into useful assets instead of being just griefing targets. Inter-kingdom-only charter stones, customization of a kingdom's "laws" so as to grant minor global bonuses/penalties for all vassals, being able to call one's faction a "kingdom" legitimally.

Well, again, if the XP tax is no longer necessary for the siege system, I'm not really sure what it would be used for instead.
