Right, that was missing from the OP. They effectively fire an arrow every five minutes. Quality does not matter (nor does the type of arrow), damage is fixed.

DDDsDD999 wrote:What's the speed of decay on the siege engines, once they start to decay?

They take damage somewhat continuously over time, such that their entire health is depleted in 8 hours.

They take damage from moving, yes, but that just means that it is distance that stops them, not walls.

Let's talk about it.
So when I build a ram it starts a timer that is tied to exact ram. Like the age of it. After 24 hours it becomes old enough to destroy EVERY palisade? And after moving and repairing it I need to wait only 1 hour before destroying the wall, if the ram was mature enough before taking movement damage?
I understand it correctly?

How many arrows does it take to destroy a ram?

That feeling when you year-long gold subbed on patch day and still can't even village claim over shallow water

I don't totally disagree, but I'm not sitting on any alternative idea that I find better.

Granger wrote:Apart from that, regarding the lag spike issue: As far as I understand it there is a way forward, when will it be walked?

I know, I know. I'm just too nervous to do invasive changes as long as things work somewhat well anyway. Not an excuse, just an explanation.

Six, IIRC.

That sounds about right, yes.

Doesn't work. You can't extent claims up a minehole, only down.
