Come on now, don't just be facetious. You know this isn't the case, and the gardening pots have been pointed out countless times to make foraging useless.

First of all, thank You for showing your middle finger down my throat. I enjoy it so much I start to wonder if I'm into BDSM.
Without further hold:

Small Fixes
-----------------------
Blueberries, Chantrelles, Stinging Nettle, Clover, Cavebulb, Chiming Bluebell, Bloodstern, Stalagoom can no longer be grown in Garden pots. Gardener now allows you to plant Lady's Mantle, Yarrow, and Troll Mushrooms. Foraging is now hopefully a bit more viable. Looking to make it more so.

I wasted my time doing gardener credo but okay, I'm used to it but let's break this apart:

- Blueberries
I feel like You made this change just because people used a lot to compare blueberries to legacy and now, without much thinking. You nerfed stating hard, so why do You punish us with blueberries now? BUT, okay, I understand, it might work, no problemo.

- Chantrelles
Are those even used? I don't even remember in legacy it being other than drop this shit down unless You wanna get some dex on beginning. You could leave it as be, unless someone will correct me on that, this change will revert it to legacy "flavour object" that nobody cares about and would wish something other, even dandelion, spawned in it's place.

- Stinging Nettle
Just why? I mean, it is not that big deal I guess, but was that really necessary? Or is it just another bee thing where You have to risk wound to pick up this?

- Clover
You outplayed yourself on that one. Somebody could maybe use it as second hand stand in for poppy or trying to gain four leaf clover (I did get first one this world and I didn't get any in previous 2 ones, thanks jorb!), but this is absolutely stupid change. I ask for a reason, WHY.

- Bluebell
This is one of two reasons I did gardening credo and now I feel being buttraped. This curio even when gardnered, isn't that good and I could have decent LP gain when on vacation or no time to play. but this is not best curio and You just killed it. Other than decoration or noob usage, I don't see people even try to pick up them unless they have empty space in their study window atm.

- Cavebulb
Other reason I got gardner. So You basically deepthroat me here so much that I should ask for either bis or want to be refunded my time on gardner because You made it so I don't need it at all. Stupid change as troll mushrooms play greater role here and Cavebulb was good for us, less competetive players. Now, it's as good as dandelion.

- Bloodstern
Well, fuck my king of the woods trade production. Why? I ask for reason what was wrong with that? You just made it quality drop but not quantity. Again, it's probably undirect hit to FEP for less competetive people.

- Stalagom
You fucked again lower class curio for less competetive people. I and many won't probably bother with stalagoms at all now. It became a dandelion of underground. (not to say it growth time was long af anyway)

- Lady's Mantle
Nobody serious bothers with that. I can replace my stalagoms with this but still, I would rather spend no time or little more time preparing something better. Oh wait, I forgot, people need gardner credo for that. Psssth. You outplayed yourself.

- Yarrow
I can somewhat agree with that but, look down.

- Troll Mushroom
I guess this is the only reason to gain gardner (which means You can basically redo whole credo now), because Lady's Mantle and Yarrow planting is NOTHING. Literally, warriors who have to heal will find tons of yarrows while hunting or something, while noobs or hermits will have to waste time to stock up for a while. I

If You wanted to achieve to turn a whole credo and profession to one thing, then congratz and first time, honestly seatribe, I felt like You punched me into face and truly, You know I won't be happy about that, but RUSHED change like this feels like You also kick my guts while I'm lying down and crying.

Honestly, fuck You and hope You will at least give us a hint You want to do further changes like this. Maybe a proper discussion would bring some fruits.

What's useful about it now though? You removed these forageables from gardening pots but didn't actually make them any more valuable to be picked in the wild nor did you add anything new to counter-balance that removal. This is exactly what I refer to when I ask you guys wtf you're doing to bring in new players and retain them and the answer to that is pretty clear by this patch: Nothing.

Why don't you make updates that players are going to like... For fuck sake now, I spend last few days working on my gardener pots, I am almost done with damn gardener credo, just to see that you have made it absolutely useless, this credo is boring as fuck, takes ages to complete it, and you have made it useless

As people said, add more options instead if removing existing ones ffs, why would you not want people to plant things?!

Are you kidding? No one cares about planting yarrow or lady's mantle at all. No one wants to forage. That was what made gardening great. This is absolutely bullshit.

MrBunzy wrote:I think the only garden option of relevance was bluebells, which had become a staple curio to all somewhat developed players. Without it, people will just switch to a new slightly worse curio to mass produce. Wild low q bluebells (and all the other foraged curios for that matter) just give too little lp to be worth collecting or studying, and will be ignored outside of the early game. The food options grown in garden pots were never really that good to begin with, and I don't think anyone will bother foraging blueberries or whatever when they could just switch to another mass produce-able food type for the same or better feps.

this^^ mass produces industry curio will be too high of a quality to make foragebles of low q be relevant. only reason w7 kept its relevance was because q wasnt that high at all top q after like 1 year was 200.
see homo sexuality trending,. do not do that.

You are- offense intended- An absolute idiot if you actually think this is a good idea in any way. Sure some of the plants are basically useless for gardening, but the majority of what you -for some fucking idtiotically stupid reason- deemed not important had great uses- Well, at least they did until you got your grubby little greedy fingers on it and fucked literally everything up.

Starting to get the impression you're actually trying to make the game so absolutely horrible and unplayable so it crashes and burns.

The problem of foraging was in SHITTY forage, with slightly better alternative (you've made by yourself). Now you removed alternative. Forage is just shit.

Gardener was already pretty much useless.
It was only ever marginally better than the alternatives.
My authority alts will eat easter eggs instead of bluebells, and I'll use lowQ truffles for my autumn steaks.
Life's good. Can teleport places. Can stop thinking about how much better my study would be if I were willing to no life mining.

I would feel bad for the people who wasted time with gardener who don't plan to get scholar, or made highQ garden pots for some reason, but this is far less significant a loss of invested effort for even the most avid gardener than the satiation change was for the average fighter, and nobody said anything about that lol
