I am indeed aware of the term "cognitive dissonance", and just for the record I'd like to state that it doesn't apply here, as it's not synonymous with any form of confusion.
Either way, it's not like I couldn't consider adding rotation of the minimap as an option for the weirdos that want it; again, I really just hadn't even considered the idea that anyone would want that. But, like, if so, would you want the full map window to also do that?
