Jorb said on stream that the new source code for the client will be released "few days" before the reset.

There was so much in the 2 hours I apparently missed that information. Thanks. Gotta go prepare.

I would agree that the chest expansion sketch thing seems like lame p2w garbage. The idea of expanding containers is neat but just make it a hard leather item or something

I literally couldn't care less about a cupboard going from 64>81 slots for $1.2USD/cupboard, because it's expensive enough for such a little gain I'd never do it - and it's gonna be rly funny to be dropping gold on the ground to fill my knarr up with some richboi's cupboards.

That said, I personally found casually crafting/organizing my village a lot more fun when I had stacks of 20-40 cupboards on a tile. Adding tabs to containers/inventories would be a better road to follow than the whole stacks thing you guys are doing from an interface perspective, especially since it could also add game-play by making it a resource intensive end game persuit.

+ it's nice to walk around your village and feel invested seeing all the expensive things you've collected.

@Loftar

Could we please have clarification or confirmation on how armors will scale, will they have fixed stats just like weapons?
If no, then consider that or else combat will be just all about hitting the other character 10 times with 100 opening cleaves, which is absurd.

Mammoths, Conch and Whales should be looked at as well considering their massive hp pools and +100 armor values, killing animals with massive hp pools when you'll deal 100 damage to them with B12 100 opening cleaves, and less than 100 damage with other weaponry is absurd and makes killing these things nigh impossible, especially if they have a huge CON value.

Or will weapons and armors have different values altogheter from what we have currently?

Idk in general that hp change seems like something that will kill A LOT of players and then will be reverted since it'll be unplayable, i might be wrong but who knows.
On the topic of siege, thing peace requiring only 3h challenge at any time will lead to people just going there at night when the other group is sleeping and just doing it then. Like even if i see someone putting it down at 3am i ain't staying up until 6am to defend it.
Also won't a thing peace allow people to just spam claims around you like this world (Which one of you fuckers did that? I know it's one of you) but you won't be able to even build a ram to destroy them if you let them dry?

Unfortunate timing for me. I would take a couple days off work for the start, but I have work projects with incoming deadlines soon. Maybe I can at least take the first Monday off so I can nolife for a while longer.
Looking forwards to a month or so of screwing around then giving up when I start needing to really work on increasing quality of things.

It's not the cupboards that are the issue, they're cheap and you have plenty of space to build more. It's the portable containers that limit what you can transport under various circumstances. Going from a Wooden Chest (6x6 = 36) to a Large Chest (6x8 = 48, so +12 capacity) costs you 2 hard metal, 4 leather, 3 bone glue and 2 rope. Upgrading from that to an Exquisite Chest (8x8 = 64, so +16 capacity) costs you 2 bars of precious metal and 2 silk cloth. It's expensive because portable container space is good. But instead of paying the materials, you can upgrade a Wooden Chest to 7x7 (49, +13 capacity, more than LC) for literally $5 (or $1.20 if you commit to further spending), or upgrade a Large Chest to 7x9 (63, +15 capacity, almost the same as Exquisite) for the same price; you can pay $5/$1.20 real-life cash to save 2 precious metal and 2 silk cloth. Of course, the very best portable container is the paid-upgrade Exquisite Chest at (81, +17 capacity) which can only be obtained by paying real-life cash in addition to the in-game materials.

Portable containers aren't as big of a deal as they were in the past, but this still feels wrong.
