A Plea for Moderation

Pills is quiet on the forum but unfortunately this is going to be a hard no for me.

He is a known ally of WB which puts him in the same camp as noidy, who you just demodded.

There are other candidates who are not affiliated with factions and can't be manipulated by ringleaders.

Jorb should make a checkup of their characters/accounts/chat history ingame before making the decision. Not saying he is wrong or right

Ya'll really are really seeing the boogieman everywhere. Afaik Pills hasn't been afiliated with any faction since at least world 10, which is now what, 5 years ago?

In the interest of transparancy, world 3 to 10 I played as a hermit with a couple of IRL friends, never more than 3-4 players. This is obviously not my original account but its been my main account since creating it. I'm more than happy to share my accounts with Jorb & Loftar, i don't expect them to remember my old main account, but I did essentially ask their permission to create a new one to start using a new name to essentially not dox myself since account names can't be changed.

In world 10 I joined the world very late, wasn't around at the start of it. Joined some village in NK before leaving to make my own with some friends, ran around with a bunch of the NK guys which i guess made me afiliated with the NK faction.

NK hasn't been a faction since W10.
W11 I joined a group of people made up of several of the NK villages. Every world since that group has gotten smaller and smaller with people either not wanting to play anymore or wanting to play with the actual factions.

We do not play as a faction, we do not play into the faction politics. We find a quiet corner of the map to play in and try to just be left alone. For the most part the group is like 70% larpers. Most of the people who you could point at in W10 and W11 to even remotely suggest any sort of faction/political afiliation no longer actually play the game.

I am pretty sure they already know all your accounts and all the characters you have ever played and all of your chat logs in game without you having to share anything.

Or take me instead as mod. I have kids myself. I'm sure that's a plus as a moderator as when the forum needs an intervention, it looks like a kindergarden.

I think it's very clear that there is 1 faction trying to dominate the forums right now, and that is Whatever Bay.

I don't necessarily mind if somebody 'in a faction' is a forum moderator, and I don't think anybody else does either if they are chill.

The fact of the matter is that there is a large effort from Whatever Bay members to influence this community right now on multiple fronts and it is only becoming more brazen each day.
